Accessible by bus/train are the resorts of Nice and Cannes to the West with Monaco/Monte Carlo and Italy to the East. Spent a week at Bill’s place and had a fantastic time. It’s really all about the location. Walking distance to Villefranche or Beaulieu (10 minutes) and St Jean Cap Ferrat (20 minutes). Pool area is really good with millionaire views (eg Villa Nellcote where the Stones recorded Exile On Main St is just to the right as you look towards the sea). Excellent communication with good tips about the area/restaurants, etc. . Bus 15 (Nice-St Jean) and 600 (Nice-Monaco/Menton) more or less on the doorstep. Good value for money. Air con would be good but otherwise a great spot!

Lovely flat- it is compact but has everything you need. Fantastic location- 1 minute to the beautiful pool, 5 minutes to beach and easy access to bus and train. Enjoyed the balcony which has a view of the garden with a glimpse of the sea beyond. Would agree with small request from another guest for better pillows! Bill is an extremely helpful and responsive host. Would love to come again.

This little flat is in a great location. We could easily walk to Beaulieu-sur-Mer and Villefranche and for two people it was a good size. The swimming pool and snack bar were a delight. Bill, the owner recommended a cab company for airport transfers and various restaurants. The flat was good value for money and we are thinking about returning.

We loved our stay here and communication with Bill throughout was excellent. It’s a great location for enjoying Villefranche sur mer as well as the many places nearby (Nice, Monaco, Menton) all easily reached by bus from the stops just a few minutes walk away. The pool area is fabulous and pool perfect temperature (there is a daily charge per sunbed €6 full day/ €3 half day). Our only very small request would be for better pillows, but that’s all! Thank you for letting us enjoy your lovely apartment 😊

This flat offered a perfect location for our holiday, set in beautiful gardens, with attractive views from the balcony and swimming pool. The pool was a good large size, deep enough for the children to enjoy underwater swimming and not too busy. The snack bar offered convenient, tasty food and my husband and son enjoyed the English tv for Wimbledon and the Euros! The flat is very clean and functional and we appreciated the lack of mosquitoes! Villefranche is very attractive and the excellent transport links meant that we were able to holiday and do lots of sightseeing without a car- a relaxing change for us! The taxi from the airport is a short, reasonable ride and the bus stop behind the residence provided a very regular service to everywhere we wanted to visit. We went out every day and there is still more to do, with trips to Menton and various art galleries around Nice being family favourites. It was a pleasant walk to the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and Villa Kérylos and we enjoyed the French-Italian cuisine of the area. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else in the area!

We enjoyed a lot our stay in Villefranche sur Mer: all conditions are met to make you feel on vacation: clean pool -10 seconds away, you prefer the beach? add another 3 minutes, restaurants- Stroll along the beach couple of minutes... Interested in sightseeing , shopping , visiting the Côte d'Azur ? hop on the bus or train -both of which are 10-15 minutes walk and you are set...depending on where you want to go ,some 15 min-1 hour transport . The appt itself is very convenient , all amenities for a comfortable stay-the terrace makes your meals so enjoyable, beats some restaurants' views:-) Well kept gardens around the appt make for enjoyable surroundings. The host is very responsive and kind! Thank you for letting us use your property Cheers

We spent lovely holidays in this nice little flat. It is equipped with everything you need. The fan helped a lot, because we had two very hot weeks. The location is clean and well situated. We enjoyed the pool, the friendly people and the close access to the sea. Bill is a very nice and caring host.

We spent a great week here as a base to visit other coastal villages by bus and train - very easy- as well as walk to the beach here to swim and wander exploring the old town. Enjoyed our evening swim and drinks by the on site pool and excellent cafe. The apartment is tiny - which we were aware of as one of us has stayed here before - especially the room with a bunk bed - not suitable for adults. Although communication from Bill was excellent we did have some trouble accessing the building as we did not have mobile phone use. We would make sure we did next time.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment. Bill could not have been more helpful, from sending pre-arrival advice to being hugely accommodating to a frequent change of flights that we encountered on our trip! The apartment itself is brilliantly located and well kept and stocked with all you will need. Plenty of room for a family of 4 (children aged 8 &11) with a lovely balcony overlooking the gardens. The pool is excellent as is the snack bar adjacent. A short walk to villefranche-sur-mer with some lovely restaurants (we ate at Espuma & La Travestere) . Easy transport with a bus stop just outside the property, we took the bus into Nice, to Eze and Saint Jean Cap Ferrat. We also took the train to Ventimiglia, Italy which was a 45 minute journey. Would thoroughly recommend

The accommodation was as described. The pool area was beautiful and well looked after. Lovely snack bar and friendly staff. Would not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. The area is quite hilly. Good bus stops directly outside the property.

Host Bill was an excellent communicator and also provided plenty of details about the local area. The location is excellent - lovely 20 minute walk along the beach to the restaurants in villefranche-sur-mer. We also walked to get groceries in Beaulier-sur-mer. Bakery there is sensational. Most of all we enjoyed the pool and spent a lot of time there. You’d be hard pressed to find better value for accommodations in Villefranche-sur-mer.

A small compact property but clean and well kept. We had hired a car which was great for exploring the area- lots to see. Nice pool and good communication with Bill. It would have been good to have another set of keys as one family member wanted to head off but a bit restricting with one set of keys . However overall would recommend !

Lovely little unit to stay in, in a wonderful area. Beach and buses very close and easy to get around. Lovely gardens and pool area, very quiet and relaxing. Local shops are a little bit of a walk, but you can get a bus if you have a bit of shopping to do. Enjoyed our stay, would recommend.

Arrived late at night after a long day involving a couple of flights. Luckily, the instructions were flawless on how to get in, get the keys and find the apartment. Perfectly adequately sized apartment for the three of us. Open plan living area extending onto a sizeable balcony overlooking the gardens was equipped with more than you'd expect - multi language channel TV, two ring hob, combination microwave oven, refrigerator with ice box, dishwasher etc. etc. Shower was surprisingly good. Pool area as per the pictures and open even in April as was the poolside snack bar. Only criticism was the WIFI was not the best. Another point to note is the French public transport system is so efficient that there was no need for a car with the only downside being the nearest shops are about 15 minutes in either direction on foot so quite a walk if laden with groceries However, this was a good excuse to eat out in the numerous excellent value restaurants on the waterfront in both Beaulieu & Villefranche! Have already tentatively enquired about visiting again soon!

We had a wonderful week staying here in October. The apartment is small but has everything you need, including two bedrooms, which is a bonus. It is very clean and has a lovely terrace with a table for meals. The complex it is located in is great for holidays and has a beautiful pool with a stunning view of the bay. I imagine it would get incredibly busy in the summer months but for October half term it was mostly empty and very quiet. The weather was perfect and we had a fantastic week exploring the area by train and bus. The public transport is superb so no hire car needed unless you want to venture further afield. The beach is a 5 minute walk from the apartment and both Villefranche and Beaulieu are within easy walking distance of 10-15 minutes, each with their own train station. We wouldn’t hesitate to return to the area and to recommend this apartment.

The apartment in this great family orientated complex was exactly as described by Bill, the owner. We arrived quite late on the Saturday evening and the instructions as to where to find the key etc, was exactly as described on the booking info. The apartment catered for our every need, and we weren't left wondering at any point during our stay. All the facilities eg pool, beach were on the doorstep, indeed the pool was only about 50m from our front door which kept my teenage sons happy! The nearest beach is wonderful, very safe, and has a great little food catering van, and also paddle-board hire close to where you access it from the l'Ange Guardien complex. There are many shops nearby, although they are a little walk if you can cope with the summer heat! But all facilities are pretty easily accessible. All in all a perfectly suitable & ideal base from which to enjoy a really good holiday, and to really embellish the point, yes we would go back again. Thanks Bill!

This apartment was a perfect place to stay. It was well fitted out and had everything we needed for our holiday. The pool was brilliant and never got too crowded. Access to the beach was really easy - the sea was very clear and warm. The location was perfect for visiting the range of restaurants in Villefranche and also for getting the bus or train along the coast. All in all a great holiday and we would love to return to this apartment.

We had a fantastic holiday. The apartment was a great size and very clean and had all of facilities we could possibly need. It has a fantastic and very helpful folder in the apartment full of information about how to use the amenities in the apartment and it also had lots of tourist information about activities in the area and further afield. It also contained very useful information about bus and train times which made our lives very easy and took away any stress of having to work out where we were going. Overall a fantastic holiday and experience and definitely go back to the apartment. Great value for money and very customer focussed.

Très bon séjour de printemps dans ce logement idéalement situé. Très calme en cette période, la gare sncf de Villefranche à moins de 15 min à pied pour les destinations de Monaco, Nice,Antibes, Cannes....est parfaite si vous n'avez pas de voiture. La résidence et l'appartement très propre, ses jardins tropicaux et la piscine sont très agréable. Villefranche avec ses petites ruelles à l'italienne et sa plage nous ont beaucoup plu à moi et mes enfants. Le contact et la disponibilité du propriétaire pour les questions sont appreciables.

Et nous voilà de retour en région parisienne... Pleins de beaux souvenirs dans la tête. on est très contentes de notre séjour chez Bill. L'appartement était vraiment bien agréable avec tout ce qu'il faut et très propre. Un beau balcon bien agréable pour prendre les repas dehors. Les explications pour rejoindre l'appartement et recevoir les clés sont très précises et nous n'avons eu aucune difficulté à trouver. La Résidence est très familiale, pas de bruits ni de nuisance, avec une quantité de verdure ( autour très appréciable notamment quand il fait chaud dehors car cela amène de la fraîcheur à l'intérieur de l'appartement. Tout est a proximité, les plages, les commerces et les restaurants. Il y a pleins de choses à visiter autour...Et pas besoin de voiture tout peut se faire à pieds, en bus et en train avec beaucoup de facilité. Possible de se balader de Vintimille à Nice super rapidement et pour pas cher... Excellentes vacances!!! nous retenons l'adresse car nous y reviendrons! Merci Bill pour votre accueil.

Nous avons séjourné du 16 au 23 août 2021 et tout était au top L'appartement est fonctionnel même si pas très grand La terrasse et la vue sont magnifiques La résidence à été super calme et la piscine au top La climatisation serait un plus mais les ventilateurs sont très appréciables

La résidence est facile d’accès avec piscine proche de l’appartement, parking et laverie. Beaux espaces verts. Logement petit mais fonctionnel avec une terrasse agréable Emplacement idéal, à mi-chemin entre Villefranche et Beaulieu, 5-10 min à pied des plages. Seuls bémols : la propreté laisse à désirer (boules de poussière, WC odorants) et lave-vaisselle inutilisable au cours de notre séjour (bien que le propriétaire ait fait son maximum pour faire venir le plombier qui n’a pas honoré le rdv)

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances à Viiefranche la communication avec "Bill" était très toujours fiable à voir amicale L'appartement propre et même avec deux enfants suffisamment confortable. L' environnement super nous n'avons pas eu besoin de louer de voiture tout peut se faire en train et en bus. Merci encore et certainement à bientôt !

Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und alles ist sauber. Der Kiosk ist nicht zu empfehlen , das Essen ist dort nicht unbedingt empfehlenswert und die Auswahl sehr Mager. Das Zimmer das wir hatten ist auch unterer Standard und nicht sauber , es wurde in einem verunreinigten Zustand übergeben, sehr klein und nicht hochwertig. In der Küche ist alles soweit enthalten und der Vermieter war per Email sehr nett.

Idéalement situé (proche des plages de Villefranche et de Beaulieu, proche de l'arrêt de bus, pratique pour se rendre à Nice ou Monaco, proche de St Jean Cap Ferrat). Très bon séjour pour moi et mes enfants. Le logement est fonctionnel, la vue sur le jardin et ses palmiers est très agréable. Un gros plus avec cette grande piscine et son solarium dont nous avons pu profiter même en Avril. Très calme en cette saison dans la résidence. La belle plage de Villefranche à 100m à pied et sa gare sncf sont idéals. Sans voiture, avec la ligne de ter, vous avez un choix de visite très large (Nice, Monaco, Antibes...) Très bon contact avec le propriaitaire
