A relaxing location with easy access and lots of local facilities and restaurants.

The apartment is in a great location on the ground floor with access to the main strip through the patio doors - this made the whole holiday more relaxing for my wheelchair bound partner. The beach is more accessible from the car side, with a ramp leading onto the sand - again limiting the need to walk any great distance without the chair - this meant the possibility of swimming was greatly increased.

As with all of France the parking was greatly contested and finding a space once you had moved could mean waiting for up to an hour.

Arrived to damp towels on the bed No bottom sheet Single quilt on a double bed Mouldy bathroom Damp cleaning cloths in bathroom drawer No soap, shower gel or hairdryer Washing machine full of wet linen Bad odour in the shower Not seperate bedroom as described on website No room in the wardrobe to put clothes I contacted booking.com and have heard nothing from them. I also contacted the owner with the reply that I should get a sheet from the washing machine to make the bed and to search in the drawers and maybe there will be some soap!!! I had already tried two sheets from the wardrobe but both were too small for the bed.

I’ve never stayed at a place like this before.

The beach here is absolutely stunning — truly one of the best travel destinations I’ve ever been to. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for this accommodation. It was one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve had: overwhelming dust, mold, and unbearable humidity. I wouldn’t wish this stay on anyone. Hopefully, the host gets to experience a similar place on their own dream vacation.

1. Communication with the host was slow. 2. Wet towels and sheets. 3. The air conditioner was extremely dirty, and I caught a cold because of it. 4. There was no hairdryer. 5.It’s hard to tell when the floor was last cleaned.

Excellent.

The location and view from this apartment was amazing looking at the sunrise over Cap Ferrat whilst lying in bed. Excellent facilities including washer machine with plenty of washing powder and toiletries. The best place I have stayed in the South of France and excellent value for money. Very nice and helpful host. I will definitely be back.

Location. Facilities. Washing machine was great. Good powerful shower. Super apartment. Great cafe next door.

Air conditioning unit was dirty so we darent use it. No working batteries in the tv remote controls. No hanging for washing to dry. Only two hangers in wardrobe. Odd items left in the freezer. Communication after booking was nonexistent.

Great apartment with even better location !

Location is absolutely perfect ! 2 mins away from the train and beach, right next door to lost of restaurants and water sports shops. Opens up onto the water. Has a full kitchen with all the things you could need. Bed is big and comfortable. The host was very quick to respond to any of our questions or concerns.

When we arrived the apartment has unfortunately not been cleaned. I texted the host to let him know and he immediately contacted the cleaners and let me know when they were going to arrive. There was what appeared to be a hole from an iron on the sofa but it didn’t bother us much.

Great Location - but the owner is not located locally if there are problems

The location of the flat is superb. Right by the sea and as the name suggests one can just sit and puts ones' feet in the sea, or simply dive in as many of they children were doing. The Studio apartment consists of a double bed plus a sofa bed, a large TV , air-conditioning. a fold up table and four chairs and small kitchenette. The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, a washing machine and ironing board.

We arrived at 2.30pm at the time we were allowed to enter. The black button on the key box was stuck and we could not access the key. 5 different people tried but we were unable to access the keys. We contacted the owner but we had to wait until 4.30pm for the husband of the cleaner to arrive. he eventually arrived with a screw driver to fix the black button. (We had previously tried with a key to dislodge it, to no avail). We had at the time of booking requested sheets for the sofa bed as we wished to sleep in separate beds. The man directed us to the wardrobe, were there were damp bed sheets and some soaking wet towels that had been washed earlier hanging inside the wardrobe. The man became aggressive when we said that we wanted dry sheets, and said it wasn't his job and nothing could be done. We could not sleep in a room with damp and wet bedding and certainly could not spend the night on damp sheets. So we left and and booked another hotel. We did send a message to the owner in Paris concerning the bedding issue and sent photos via WhatsApp but we did not receive a reply.

Really enjoyed the location and as we were only there for 2 nights it was acceptable and it was pretty cheap.

The location was great. So close to the water, train station and beach.

Unfortunately it was a bit run down, missing louvers and I had read this prior to visiting but they actually allowed people to see in, a little disappointing. Also there was washing left in the machine so we just left the washing machine as it was. I did replace the sheet on the bed as well.

Budget stay with luxury view. Friendly bar next door, perfect for beach and train station only 10 minutes walk max for exploring Monaco, Nice, Menton etc. Easy correspondence, owner helpful. I slept on the proper pull out sofa bed, really comfortable. would definitely stay again

the shutters really do need replacing, they slats fell off every time we tried to open/close it. There’s lots of storage but it’s all full of clutter so unable to unpack properly.

Villefranche is a jewel within a jewel! We will definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in Villefranche. There were a couple of issues, the top drawer of the bathroom cabinet was off and the sliding doors of the wardrobe came off the runners but all that aside, the apartment had everything we needed. The kitchen appliances worked really well and there was even a small dishwasher! The shower was great and the bed was very comfortable. The location couldn't have been better...we were right on the water's edge and enjoyed looking out to sea as we ate our evening meals! We totally fell in love with Villefranche and will definitely return one day and would be more than happy to stay in this apartment again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Not much of a dislike but the shutters that opened out at the front of the apartment could do with being replaced. They were difficult to open and there was a gap in one of the slats. But this still did not stop us from opening them and enjoying the view.

Loved the location. The room was very spacious. The price was great. It was my first time to this location and I absolutely loved it. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The instructions for finding the keys were unclear. The parking situation was not good but to be expected.

I like the location.

The sleeper couch is broken. There is one door + shutter to the outside that doesn't close properly. Whenever someoone stands near or outside the doorway, the light will go on, but the windor doesn't have any curtains/ blinds so the light illuminates the room throughout the night. The breakdown of costs says EUR 30 goes towards cleaning... I'm not so sure. It smelled very bad, like a dead rat. There was a wet t-shirt behind the washing machine and my partner found a hair on his pillow. The washing machine drains into the toilet - maybe that's the smell?? There's no bin in the kitchen, bedroom or bathroom.

No parking, no wifi, no response from the owner

There are already plenty of reviews here mentioning the state and the cleanliness of the studio, so I am not going to repeat them. The studio was advertising having free parking ( and that is the reason I booked, travelling by car by myself with a child and luggage I wanted a hustle free experience) This is false. There are very limited places outside of the building which are only free between 8pm and 6am. There is also no wifi. I was provided with a wifi name and password on my request but the information was false, there was no wifi with that name. I have complained to the owner and was promised a refund for parking ( I had to pay 20 euros for 11 hours of parking). However I had no further communication from the owner since.

Very reasonable! And Perfect Location!

Okay honest review. This property is located right on the seafront on the promende and you will be glad to stay here rather than in one of the hotels located higher up in the mountains which are extremely difficulty to get to without doing quite a bit of cardio exercise. Or taxi... and taxis are not cheap. I read the reviews before staying here, so i kind of expected it to be like the reviews stated. The apartment is clean with extra amenities, such as a washing machine, ironing board, cooker hoover etc. Well equipped with cutlery. Partly very modern. If the owners, touched this apartment up and modernised the rest of it, just a little, with a lick of paint, re-do some of the grout in the bathroom, and new tiles on the shower floor, maybe another sofa bed or a comfier modern bed, instead of the double bed that is here, then they could easily charge a lot more than what they are asking. But overall. For the price we paid, i paid for 3 nights, it was very good and very reasonable. Very close to restaurants, a supermarket, the beach and the train station where you it goes direct to monte carlo for less than 5 euros for 4 people. Right behind the the apartment is the old village with a labrynth of alley ways and stairs. Which is pretty cool.

VMC, trop bruyante ainsi que la clim on ne peut pas déplier le canapé. Sinon on peut pas aller à la salle de bain, il il y a très peu de place pour ouvrir la table, il n’y avait pas de torchon de cuisine. Le lit n’était pas fait La machine à laver était pleine de linge mouillée. Les volets ne se ferment pas bien et on ne peut pas les laisser ouvert un jour de vent il n’y a pas de crochet pour les laisser ouvert
