Great place

Location was great. Apartment was clean and warm when we arrived. The host was very kind and understanding with our needs and requests. Facilities were exactly as described. Amazing balcony with the a breathtaking view.

Fridge door was making some noise but not a deal breaker.

Very cosy and central flat, with great view.

Very close to the station (4-5 minute walk) Great view from the balcony, and very big balcony. Flat is bigger than looks on pictures, very well decorated with everything one needs. Very well cleaned. Everything was perfect.

The bed is not comfortable and not the same standard of the rest of the flat. Investing a bit more in a better bed would make a difference. Other than that, nothing negative comes to mind.

Panoramic stay

The view from the terrace is beautiful. The apartment was clean and bright. Very occasional noise from the family upstairs, but nothing to complain about. We had an issue with the terrace shutter breaking, we reported it and it was sorted the same day and we didn't have to stay in either. The location is a 10 minute, uphill, walk from the train station, which was convenient. Public transport stops around the corner.

Shower is just a shower head, half way down the wall, inside a small bathtub with a built in seat which made it uncomfortableto shower.. Shutter on outside of bathroom window did not work and although quiet ish area, if someone was in the opposite apartment block, they would get a lovely view!! We didn't have any issues but there were several ant traps around the place, with most in the bathroom. The shelf under the TV was hanging off the wall when we arrived so couldn't use that. But the biggest issue for us was the heating, it was really hot in the apartment when we arrived, uncomfortably so. The only option we had was to have the large desk fan on most of the time or have the patio door open, but then this meant we had the regular announcements over the tannoy system at the nearby train station. The door on the fridge sqeaks loudly every time you open it, which is not great when you need a cold drink during the night!!

A very good experience. We would rent again.

Good location, a short walk, gently uphill, from the station. Put-U-Up bed (1.8m) was very comfortable The terrace gave good views of the town and lake and was great for meals. A real bonus.

The shower facilities. The shower is hand held in a half-bath, which has split level to form a seat. So you can either sit down to use the shower or stand in the deeper part. Not much room. IT would be difficult to use for someone with even minor disability. TH host presented a list of possible payments for breakages etc shortly before we arrived but there was no inventory or anyone to meet us at the apartment to check all was in order at the time of arrival. The instructions for WiFi given to us by email were inaccurate but this was soon sorted out by telephone.

Perfect location, amazing view, good value

This perfectly located apartment is simply perfect. Someone wrote: 9 minutes walk from the train station? 9? Maybe when you're going there for the first time and don't know exactly where you're heading. Later it's more like 5 minutes. The apartment is spacious, clean, has all the need facilities and really good internet. It also has an amazing balcony with the view of the city and the lake. I totally recommend this place and I actually hope to come back here someday.

I was scared for my life, female travelers beware!

A man that lived in the apartment building was stalking me through the windows of my rental apartment on multiple occasions. I felt incredibly unsafe as the area is not well lit and I couldn't prevent the man from watching me through the windows with blinds or curtains. I left two days early and the company is refusing to acknowledge that the incident happened and will not reimburse my two days.

Nice view, perfect to seat in porch and enjoy the life. The appartment was clean, which is very important, especially when you have a kid.

The most challenging was the way to the appartment itself. It's located on the hill, so during such a hit (+34) the way "home" was difficult. Also, I prefer to have air-conditioning, not just a ventilator. It's not enough.

Pleasant stay and excellent location. One thing could have been better was house provision like shower gel, dishwasher tablets that was apt for 1-2 days only and property denied extra for a longer stay which left us with a bad taste.

Nice apartment

Good location and view. Apartment was cozy and clean.

The terrace window did not close. The sliding system is old and it is not easy to open it. Also, the train station is very close, so we could hear every freight train through the window, I think.

Superb apartment, but I cannot recommend it unless the whole balcony door is replaced

It is a really great apartment. With great views, as in the pictures. It was very clean and the kitchen was well serviced. The bed is very comfortable, more than it looks at first glance. There is a good amount of pillows to choose. The location is very convenient, and it is a quiet area. The tv worked well and the internet connexion was robust.

The second thing I noticed when getting into the apartment is that the door to the balcony was not properly closed. It did not bother me, I thought maybe it was left like this on purpose to get air into the apartment. However, I opened it to get to the balcony, and when closing it back, I noticed that the door was defective. The glass door is huge and hangs from 2 metallic pieces on the top connecting to the rails on the frame. One of them was out of place so the whole door was held by only one of the two metallic strips. Dangerous, as the door is huge and heavy. If that strip had failed, the door would have probably fallen on us. I contacted the property and they just apologized and said someone would fix... in a week. That was a Thursday. They did not ask what exactly happened, and the damage was clearly structural, so I believe they know it but rent it anyway without warning the guests. I think previous guests had similar comments. Again, the damage seems structural and and easy quick fix will not resolve the issue. The door should be changed. They should also be able to attend emergencies like that. So, for the whole stay we had to sleep with the door not fully closed and traffic noise coming through. Luckily, it is not such a noisy area and it was not cold those days. I had to jump on a chair and partially fix the door myself in order for it to partially close, otherwise the open gap was like 4 inches wide. Every time we opened it, we had to hold the metal strip when closing back, or it would come off again. Rather annoying. Of course, no compensation was offered, not even the option to leave the apartment later than at 10am (could have been a nice and inexpensive detail). Another minor point is that if you arrive by night, it is almost impossible to see the numbers on the key locker. You´ll have to use the torch of your phone.

Apartment was great. Location close to train station.

The manager, Quokka, was not responsive to my requests. The kitchen tools were minimal. No spatula for flipping eggs or pancakes, no small knives for cutting small objects. When I requested them, they weren’t able to supply them, nor did they seem to care. Also, electric was tricky. Not enough outlets and circuit breaker kept flipping off.

Beautiful view and comfy place!

The studio has a stunning view and it's easy to reach any main sight from this place on foot in 15 minutes. We had all the necessary equipment to be able to cook at home,which facilitated our stay. The staff was always quick at responding and helping out. We were lucky to see both cloudy and sunny Lugano with Christmas market, which was very beautiful.

The only thing that made us upset that it isn't so easy to find the parking spot and it's a whole procedure involved. But it was ok in the end because for the residents this system works perfectly and we needed to adapt a bit.

All in all, a good stay.

I liked the location and the space and the view. The facilities were all I needed and there was tea and biscuits etc. provided for breakfast. Plenty of space for 1-2 guests and a pretty good view of the lake.

I am an American with a poor ability to read Italian. It would have been VERY helpful to have a FAQ in the house in English regarding how/where to park; how to raise the blinds to the veranda; how to use the microwave, ,etc. I wrote for answers and got helpful responses but a "How To" for English speakers would have been great. (I missed getting a parking ticket by seconds ... I was getting in the car when a motorcycle Cop ordered me to drive off)

A great option but needs some little repairs.

Location was very close to the train station. View from the balcony/room was stunning. To enjoy the view , you do not even have to go to the balcony, you can simply enjoy it from the room. Very clean. Wifi was good.

The balcony door. Though I could open/close it, it just wouldn’t lock. It seemed old, along with the blind, and needs repair. The fridge makes a lot of noise at night, so that can be annoying. Microwave didn’t work on the last day.

Schöne Tage in Lugano

Die Lage war für uns super aber natürlich nur für bewegliche Menschen. Schöne Terasse mit toller Aussicht über Lugano und den See und in kurzer Distanz zum Bahnhof. Apartement zweckmässig eingerichtet , für uns kein Problem da nur Kaffee ,Tee und event. nur Frühstück gemacht wurde. Alles in allem ein schöner Kurzaufenthalt in Lugano.

Eigentlich alles IO Die kleine Badewanne für älter Personnen vorsichtig beim Einstieg Schlüsselkasten bei dunkelheit schwierig zum Einstellen. Hatte aber eine kleine Taschenlampe dabei. Sonst gute Videos für den täglichen Gebrauch

Zentrale Lage und toller Ausblick

Sehr zentral und toller Ausblick. Ausstattung der Küche war auch gut.

Leider konnte man die Heizung nicht regeln, da diese automatisch gesteuert wird. Es war unangenehm warm, sodass wir ständig gelüftet haben. Dies war natürlich nicht besonders nachhaltig und gibt leider Minuspunkte

تأخرنا كثيراً في الدخول للشقة وتواجدنا في الشمس في الشارع لنصف ساعة ولم يفهمنا الموظف بأنه يمكننا الدخول قرب صندوق المفتاح في الظل وعمل تسجيل الدخول هناك.

Studio spacieux, agréable, à deux pas du centre-ville et des arrêts de bus bien desservis.

L'appartement est à 15 minutes à pieds depuis la descente du train jusqu'à l'arrivée dans l'appartement. Très très pratique! Le quartier est calme et il y a une magnifique vue! Mais les fenêtres donnent sur une route en contrebas assez fréquentée la journée et sur la gare....

Le potager est à changer. Les plaques pour cuisiner (que ja n'ai pas utilisé) sont dans un piteux état et certainement dangereuses!
