We visited our daughter living in Bath. The accomodation was quite near to the city center!

We were very happy with the room/Apt. size. It was very comfy and clean. Everything needed for a lovely weekend was provided by the hosts. The one room Apartment is nicely furbished and cosy. In the “living” part there was an additional sofabed, a little table and a tv. There was a good sized kitchette and a nice shower in the little bathroom. The bed’s mattress was very comfy as well. As we travelled with our electric car, we were very happy that there was also provided an ev charger on the property!

The accomodation is situated close to a main road, so unfortunately it was a bit noisy during night

Adorable place

A very sweet little studio apartment, just a short drive from Bath. The place was neat and tidy, and the complimentary earplugs were greatly appreciated. Dana communicated clearly in the lead up to my stay. For anyone else staying here, the what.three.words is, in my experience, the most reliable method of finding the location, especially if arriving after dark.

Beautiful cosy place to stay. Box is great place to stay with easy access to Bath and Chippenham .

We had just a slight issue in getting the keys from the lock box, as the code which we were given was incorrect. A quick phone call soon sorted it out. Box is a great place, there was so much information in the accommodation on where to eat and where to go. We went to the Quarryman Arms one evening and the very sweet café in Box called Toast.

The Coach House in Box

The room is a converted loft over the coach house, is easily accessible up a few stairs from the parking lot, and is neat and cosy. There's bus stops (to/from Bath) within a short walk away, and pubs and a small convenience store nearby.

It is situated immediately adjacent to the main road, so lots of traffic noise and vibrations from trucks throughout the day and night. Its approx 7mi from Bath, so not that close! Need to BYO shampoo etc, and condiments and milk if you're eating in.

Lovely little quaint stay in Box, UK

The property is very nice, quaint and beautiful. The building has been sympathetically adapted for use as a one bedroom studio apartment. Inside, there is everything that a single traveler or couple need. I spent 6 nights there and it was very well appointed and a comfortable stay.

The property is located on a main road, just a meter or two from the road. When large vehicles pass, it can have an effect on the building. You feel the vibrations and hear the noise. The road gets quiet later in the evening, so it's not bad for sleep, but you may still hear the odd noisy car or truck passing by.

It was warm, nice mattress, very clean. Easy to connect to wifi. Pretty building. Clear instructions re septic tank.

Our downstairs neighbour parked so that we couldn't fit our car. So close to road - noisy traffic! We moved the bed from the wall so as not to crack our heads on the overhead beam. Mirrors were placed to make it difficult to do hair/makeup. No iron! Wardrobe was full - no room to hang clothes.

The road was loud with lorries coming past in the night which didn’t really bother us at all but maybe would bother someone else.

The location and size, lots of character, lovely outdoor seating area.

The steps outside could do with a light as they are quite uneven. No child safety locks on the first floor windows which is very unsafe. Bit confused about the parking as other cars were parked where we were instructed to park.

The room is very cute

Lots of insects to kill. The noise of cars at night was very annoying as is on a main road. We had to buy even salt and oil for cooking. No soaps for shower and the sofa bed is very hard and uncomfortable.

Great location for money, easy Bath access via bus/car, and met our needs.

We liked the location, Box is a very cute town, and value for money. Very easy to take the bus into Bath for the day.

Shower had a few hair on walls. Bed was very firm, some may like that but we are a little less firm people. Sofa bed used for our 3 yo had a metal bar straight through the center, she didn’t mind but a larger child or adult it would be very uncomfortable.

Great location in a quiet village.

The location of this property is wonderful. Only a 20-25 minute bus ride into Bath and in driving distance from many local towns. The Indian round the corner was beautiful, fully recommend it. The bed was comfy and the property was nice and warm.

It is right on the main road so can be noisy with the traffic going by (although ear plugs were provided). If you have poor mobility the stairs up to the property are not the easiest. Also the positioning of the hob makes it quite difficult to cook, banged my head a fair few times.

Room was quaint. Clean bedding and towels.

Excessive road noise. Steep steps and no lights outside. Black mould on windows and curtains and blinds. No answer from helpline, telephone call or text. No slippers or toiletries as listed. Kettle and sink grimy.

It is a great property. The adjacent road was busy and could be heard with the windows open, but there were localised roadworks which meant more traffic was using this route than I recall as usual

Not as good as it looks

+The cottage has enough space for two people and all the comforts seen in the photo. +The kitchen is well equipped, so you can cook there. +The town of Box is fairly quiet and desolate, but has some nice views.

981 / 5.000 + The cottage is very dark, different from what it looks like in the photo. + The bus runs every hour and does not always respect the schedules that appear on Google Maps. The ticket costs about 5 pounds for each trip. + As it is next to a road, there is a lot of noise from cars and the house shakes every time one passes too fast. + DOES NOT INCLUDE SOAP OR SHAMPOO for the shower. The dish soap and hand soap in the bathroom seemed to have water in them so that you couldn't wash things properly. There were no sponges to wash dirty dishes. + The information offers slippers, BUT THEY TOLD US THEY SOLD OUT, so we had to buy some in Bath. + They have zero tolerance with check-out. So they charged us an additional 30 pounds because unfortunately, we spent two extra hours. They could be more flexible considering that there was no continuous transportation to get out of the place. + It is not so cozy because it does not include the flowers, nor the presentation that appears on the table, which would be nice to rectify.

Great little snug in a picturesque area

The bus stop into Bath was quite close. It was a very cozy place and was perfect for what we needed.

There was a draft or two but that's what you can expect from a historic building. The quilted curtains helped with that. My husband's only issue was that he was a bit too tall for the kitchen.

Parking was great. The provided towels, slippers and tea towels were nice. The fan helped too.

The property is lovely, the accommodation clean, comfortable and beautiful. The host was super quick in responding to any questions. I wanted to spend a few days alone writing an article and it went well. There is a convenience store 5 min walk with everything you can possibly need, from fresh fruit and veggies to ready meals. I also went on some lovely walks. Definitely recommend this studio flat.

I did not realise how close to the road the property was (my bad) and from early morning I could hear the traffic. I solved the issue by going to bed early so being wakened up by the road did not bother me. I would have liked more light on the kitchen but that is not a big issue.

Ideal location for local village, shop, and walks. Also quite central for touring various sites of interest eg National Trust properties, etc.

Very noisy due to location (next to A4). Building seemed to almost shake when large lorries / HGVs passed by. The Wi-Fi was incredibly slow.
