The Horse Barn

There is so much to like about this property. It was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are a good size and beds very comfortable. There is everything you’d possibly need; a very well equipped kitchen with plenty of light. The patio is a great spot to sit in the evening; very tranquil. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming. The wine and cakes were very much appreciated following our 5hr drive. We loved our stay so much, we’ve booked again for next year!

There is nothing to dislike……apart from having to leave!

Excellent location for visiting relatives. Full cottage, so room to move around. Animals. Well stocked kitchen enabled me to cater for 5 adults and a good sized dining table.

No contact with hosts on arrival or the 3 days we were there. Outside furniture hadn't been cleaned. Shower room door was too difficult for me to close (same as last time) snd not ideal with a mixed party! Hit my head several times on the corner of the cooker extractor fan. Generally in need of a tad more T.L.C.

Kitchen well stocked with equipment and appliances. Lovely cakes and a bottle of wine ready for us on arrival. Plenty of parking. Comfy beds, second toilet and wash basin much appreciated. The cottage felt spacious for a cottage.

The Wi-Fi was a bit intermittent.

The hosts were very kind. We let them know we were going to get in late and Han offered to buy some groceries for us, so we would have something to eat in the morning. She asked for a list and sure enough when we got there, the breakfast items that we needed for the next morning were all there! She left the receipt and we paid her back at check out. It was very thoughtful and helpful! The location was also great for our kids who loved seeing the different farm animals. My daughter also loved the bunk beds, and the cottage was really clean and cozy.

There is not much I didn't like. We had a little bit of a hard time finding the place, but that was more of an issue with the Navi and the driver (me) ;0
