Too far from public transport. We don't have a car. It's a 2 mile walk to nearest town.

Pretty as the picture

This lovely unit was spacious and clean. We were two couples and it was just perfect for us. Owners had put a few pretty Christmas decs up which was a lovely touch. They also came and made sure we had a battery powered light in case the power went off as the area had had a weather warning. We loved the board games too. Kitchen was stocked very well.

A lovely place

The view is wonderful, the flat is very well-equipped and everything is in very good condition. The parking space with the clematis just set the vibes(or what ever) for our whole stay! and then some goodies for us in the kitchen.

As a Swede, I have to admit that some IKEA stuff doesn’t take wear very well, i.e. some if the china.

Superb

the property is shining clean and well equipped with all your needs in the kitchen and bathroom. we were lucky to find such a place with beautiful surroundings and view! in a very lovely village. we are also thankful for the host with how quick her response and help to us during the stay! there is also a bus stop 9 minutes walk that take you to Bath center every 2 hours (excluding Sunday)

no shops or groceries nearby the cottage. need a 20 minutes walk or bust for that.

A most delightful place indeed!

The pictures don't do this place justice at all. Truly immaculate and tastefully furnished in a most delightful setting . Located on the outskirts of Bath but close to everything. Upon arrival we found a bottle of wine and some Tiffin...... Thank you so much IF WE VISIT BATH AGAIN THEN WE WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE ONCE MORE.

Just 2 MINOR observations... Bathroom sink is very small and cupboard above it is a hindrance. There really isn't much storage space for food etc if staying for,say,a week. They aren't negatives and didn't detract from our visit at all.

The overall stay was fantastic!

The property was fully equipped, we are able to cook many meals. The owner is really helpful, he is always there to help if we needed anything.

the shower was really hot, was not able to adjust the temperature, most of us came out looking like a red lobster 🦞

Lovely place spoiled by ants!

Apartment was lovely in a beautiful location.

When we arrived, there were ants crawling over the kitchen floor and kitchen counters. There were dead ants in the bathroom where the cleaner must have sprayed insect killer. It took us three days to get rid of the ants using ant bait, ant killer spray and powder.

The location was wonderful - spectacular views across the valley and two pubs in walking distances (if you are fit). Probably best to have a car.

Very clean, all linen and towels provided, kitchen was well equipped. Nice size of apartment - didn’t feel cramped. Location suited to those with cars who can drive into the city.

Beautiful views, quiet surroundings, clean and convenient.

We went as a family of four: two adults, one 3-year-old and one 4-month-old. Brilliantly located accommodation with views over the valley. Close enough to Bath for it not to be an issue driving into the town centre. Quiet, with a nice outdoor space for our eldest to play in. The horses in the adjacent paddock were a hit! The interior was extremely clean with all appliances we could have needed to make our stay comfortable. The place was extremely well insulated, and we never felt cold.

Creaky floors meant that we had to tread lightly when settling our 4-month-old. But honestly, that’s a minor negative that did not detract from the overall experience we had.

A great little find just outside Bath . Everything you need for a very comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings with stunning views, peaceful and quiet. The apartment was exceptionally clean with tasteful decor throughout!

Pretty location, moderately comfortable, overly controlling host

Great location for us, lovely views, clean and serviceable.

I contacted the host 36 hours before checking in to warn her my husband was working late in London and we might not make her 10pm cut off for check in and whether she could leave keys for us. I hate the feeling of keeping someone up waiting and have often found hotels and b and b's happy to leave the door on the latch and keys in the room to accommodate self check in. A day later she still hadn't replied. I emailed via booking.com, I called several times, my husband called, booking.com called and nothing. Booking.com even had to look at other options and refund policy for us. Eventually my poor father in law who lives in the area drove all the way over to the holiday accommodation and found the host - only then did she return my text message! By this time two or three hours had passed when we could have been packing and getting on the road. So we were ironically made significantly later by her lack of response. She still refused to leave keys out or the door unlocked for us whilst making it clear before and after the trouble they were going to staying up for us. I asked about bringing tea and coffee for our stay. She said it was provided but in the event she had given us 4 shots of coffee and 6 tea bags for the entire stay. Then I had to go to a supermarket big enough to stock the particular coffee pods she uses. Why not have a cafetiere and tell me bring my own coffee? Similarly stingy kitchen supplies. It was a nice gesture to provide croissants but they we're a day past their best before date. The flat is slightly ill thought through too. Spacious bathroom with tiny sink so you hit your head on the mirror. Decent size bedroom but bulky chest of drawers installed instead of a bigger bed. Three plug points none of them next to the bed. Short flimsy clothes storage. Bed overly soft.

A great place to stay, very good experience.

Really enjoyed the stay - the view and big green field outside the house are amazing; the house is newly decorated and all rooms are very clean. The owner put a lot of efforts into it: a little surprise in the kitchen on our arrival, very comfortable table and bedding, a soft ball left in the field for our 2 years old to play. Best of all: if you want to have a proper short break from the busy city life, have some very quiet time to enjoy the view and spending time with your family, but can still gain the easy access to all Bath main tourist attractions, this is the place to go.
