Stylish 1-Bed Flat Sleeps 4 Free Parking

The property was a hidden gem located near Morrision's and on a direct bus route 10 minutes into Bath. Communication with the hosts was good via the Booking.com app. The property was clean and various essentials were provided. The flat is nicely decorated and hidden away from the road.

As noted previously, their was no light in the hall way which could be useful for all the flats. Live TV is via the apps rather than a Live listing but it still works but a bit fiddly at first. I would say an annoying aspect was the constant texts from Truvi to confirm my ID, which wasn't possible without also agreeing to pay £35 insurance during our stay. I contacted the host and in the end I ignored the texts as agreed with the host. We have an unblemished record with Booking.com and even if some accident did befall an item in the property we would own up to it and pay according. Despite all this we would definitly book again as the flat was lovely.

Se encuentra a 10 min del centro, y el camino por Henrietta Park es más ameno y corto. Muy limpio, todo bastante nuevo y cómodo. Gracias que había un ventilador, pues esos días hubo una ola de de calor y lo usamos bastante. El poder hacer un té por las mañanas es un plus. Al lado de un supermercado. Tiene un pequeño patio. Bath es una ciudad preciosa!

Eramos tres personas. Hay una cama doble, y el sofá cama. Para el sofá cama no encontré sábanas. Me apañé con el cubrecama y un duvet fino. La ventana del salón, que está sobre el sofá cama, no tiene cortina ni ningún tipo de oscurecedor! Y amanecía a las 4.30am.. Lo solucione con un antifaz. Pero sería perfecto con un estor o algo que impida esa luz. Solo le encontré esos 2 fallos.

The location was excellent, with a Morrisons supermarket nearby, a bus stop just a short walk away, and plenty of food shops and restaurants in the area. The room was a good size, and the sofa bed was comfortable for the kids. The toilet and bathroom looked modern and were very clean. It was also great to have a kitchen and refrigerator available, which made our stay more convenient. Thank you for providing the small fan, which was very useful. The kids especially loved having Netflix available and enjoyed watching their favourite shows in the evenings. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

A few small issues could be improved. The entrance light was not working, which made it difficult to access the property after dark. We also found the oven difficult to operate, and there were no instructions provided. We eventually figured it out after searching online. While the sofa itself was clean, the lower section of the sofa bed had not been cleaned properly. The toilet door did not close properly, which was a little inconvenient

Very clean property, really comfortable bed! They should say there's a Morrisons right next door to the property!

What we didn't like about the actual property was.. There is no light in the hallway. (I have seen a previous review that flagged this) we had our torch on our phones! Mind your head when walking through from the lounge down to the bedroom. I'm 5ft 6 and caught my head. No blind in the living room, there is no privacy, and it's drafty sitting on the sofa. A towel rail is needed in the sink and toilet room (we tucked it into the top drawer). It's situated on the main road into Bath, so it was a tad noisy a lot of sirens! We had issues once we had booked the property. This company, Clean Break, uses another company called Truvi (google Truvi), which will send a link to "verify yourself." It will then take you to a payment page. I actually thought it was a scam. as it gives you the impression you have to pay a £35 non-refundable charge for insurance or pay over £200 upright that is refundable if you don't damage anything. It won't let you continue to "verify yourself" unless you choose and pay. Neither me nor my boyfriend has ever come across this before and had a nightmare trying to get hold of someone to confirm this was a thing. Turns out it is, and you don't need to pay or verify yourself 🤷🏻‍♀️ We didn't pay!We also requested an hour earlier check-in. We could if we paid £25, again we had never in all the years of going away heard of this.. we decided not to do that! Maybe those things should be mentioned on the advert for the property. One last thing, and I'll stop! (Never have I wrote a review this long!) I received around 6 emails during a one night stay checking up, giving us instructions for this and that when there was no need and it became a joke. We wouldn't book this place again and will definitely steer clear of other places they have on here!
