Cozy family hotel

We enjoyed a lot 3 nights stay at Villa Buchenhain! We had a wonderful room (108) overlooking Ehrwald! Rooms are spacious (bedroom and living room / fully equipped kitchen). Yes, bathroom doors are made of glass :) not sure how it works when you travel with kids (we will find it out next year ;) The nearest slope is 5 mins walk. There is a ski room with heating system for the boots. SPA is very nice, with swimming pool and sauna, hammam and red infra sauna. We loved chilling there after sport days. Thank you , Lisa, for your hospitality and warm welcome! We will definitely be back!

Hotel was very accommodating for our late arrival, which was greatly appreciated. The room was spacious and clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The view was amazing!

Perfect

The building's location is excellent, offering peace and quiet while still being just a 10-minute walk to shops. The apartment is large and clean, and offers everything you need. The view from the window is beautiful, overlooking the mountains. My son loved the pool area. Good area for many mountain/biking trips.

Highly recommended! Wake up in the morning with the best mountain. The apartment is clean and the kitchen is well-equipped. Comes with two bathrooms and the apartment is huge. The staff is friendly and would stay here again 🙄

An inspirational and uplifting stay in the mountains

The location at the top of the hill offers unrivalled views of the mountains. The chalet was very well equipped and the balcony made eating outside a delight. Fresh bread service, chocolates and bath robes add a touch of luxury I did not expect. The pool is lovely too. An exceptional, family run establishment.

We had a great view on the surroundings! The staff was great to support us in dealing with some unexpected issues during the night.

The TVs are a bit outdated and could be improved by adding support for Netflix (or other smart apps).

Perfect location, amazing view, helpful staff

The hotel is located in a beautiful area, just by the Zugspitze with an amazing view of the summit and the whole Ehrwald valley, 10 mins walk to the town center and about 5 min away from a big grocery SPAR. The staff was extremely helpful and we were assisted and contacted just before arrival to feel warmly welcomed. We were receiving a letter with the weather forecast and day plan proposal each day, prepared by the staff. There was a roofed parking plot right next to the building. Our apartment was spacious, consisting of a big bedroom with a bathroom and a living room with a fully equipped kitchen. The room was crystal clean! We were advised what to see and where to go visiting by a kind reception lady. We also had a chance to use a nice, clean swimming pool and sauna. There is also a kid zone full of toys (a small billard, a small slide, etc). We couldn't have dreamed of better accommodation for our vacation. The stay was perfect!

Excellent hotel in an excellent location

Excellent hotel! We booked a family unit that’s a 2 bedroom apartment with a living room and a fully equipped kitchen. In addition we find an astonishing balcony. The breakfast costs 12€ in addition. There’s a SPAR supermarket in a 7 minutes walking distance. The staff is a very friendly and polite. There’s a pool and spa area on a bottom floor. Everything is very clean and shiny

The dry sauna didn’t work, however the wet one worked perfectly

Villa Buchenhain fijn appartement met gebruik van welness en zwembad.

Super fijn. Rustig. Aardige mensen en behulpzaam. Appartementen zijn dichtbij en op loopafstand van supermarkt, skiverhuur en de Wettersteinbahnen en skibushalte voor bus naar de andere skigebieden in de Zugspitze Arena. Alles schoon en keurig, handdoeken en inclusief gebruik van toiletpapier. Verwarmde ruimte voor stallen van skies en skischoenen en overdekte autoparkeerplaats. Upgrade op initiatief van eigenaar, naar groter appartement, omdat het kon, fantastisch! Dagelijkse schoonmaak, verschonen vuilnisbakken, beddenopmaak en evt schone handdoeken. Gratis gebruik van badjas en extra handdoeken voor zwembad en heerlijke ruime welness. Ook mogelijkheid voor ontbijt. Super appartement met balkon genoten.

Wir hatten das große Glück, ein paar wundervolle Tage in der Villa Buchenhain zu verbringen – und sind restlos begeistert! Schon bei der Anreise wurden wir herzlich empfangen und konnten sogar früher als geplant in unser Appartement einziehen. Das war nicht nur unkompliziert, sondern ein echter Bonus nach einer langen Fahrt. Die Unterkunft selbst ist einfach fantastisch: großzügig, lichtdurchflutet, makellos sauber und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl. Besonders Familien können hier richtig durchatmen – ein Spielzimmer für die Kleinen, ein Wellnessbereich für die Großen und ein Schwimmbad für alle sorgen für Entspannung und Unterhaltung für Groß und Klein. Ein besonderes Lob gilt dem gesamten Team: Jede einzelne Mitarbeiterin war unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und herzlich – man spürt, dass hier mit echter Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Der Service war in jeder Hinsicht vorbildlich. Es wurde auf alles geachtet, man fühlte sich rundum gut aufgehoben und willkommen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder und können die Villa Buchenhain von Herzen empfehlen – ein wahres Paradies in den Tiroler Bergen!
