We had a wonderful 5-night stay at La Pavean in late September and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The location is excellent — right in the heart of Beaune and within easy walking distance of the town’s main attractions, restaurants and shops. Our apartment faced the Hôtel-Dieu, which made the location even more special. We stayed in the larger Premier apartment, which was spacious, comfortable and well equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. Patrick was extremely helpful, friendly and responsive throughout our stay. He personally met us for both check-in and check-out and kindly assisted us with our luggage, which we really appreciated. One point to note is that the apartment is on the second floor and there is no lift. However, Patrick was very helpful in assisting us with some of our luggage. For those driving, we parked at Parking des Tanneries, which is free and within about 100m walking distance of the apartment. Parking spaces can be quite difficult to find during the busier parts of the day, although we generally found availability improved later in the afternoon, around 3–4pm. Overall, La Pavean was an excellent base for exploring Beaune. The combination of its central location, spacious accommodation and Patrick’s warm hospitality made our stay particularly enjoyable. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Beaune.

Patrick, the host was very helpful and responded quickly to questions and requests. The property is right in the heart of Old Town Beaune, walking distance to everything.

A great location right opposite Hotel Dieu in the heart of the old town.

Sadly the vinyl was flaking off the furniture every time you sat on it. The floor in the shower recess looked like it hadn’t been cleaned properly for a very long time. There was no clothes rack to dry washed clothes on.
