Apartment on the 1st floor of 71 m², full of charm. Its French ceilings, its exposed stones and its covered terrace (9.5m²) we hope will charm you.
It is composed of a large comfortable living room, a large fully equipped kitchen opening onto the terrace, 2 bedrooms with 200 x 160 double bed, a bathroom with bathtub/shower and separate toilets. The private terrace is covered so you can spend pleasant moments relaxing. Apartment accessible only by stairs only.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joce’s Beaune apartment. It’s light and airy with a well-equipped kitchen, a lovely covered patio and a comfortable living area. Being inside the ramparts made it easy to walk to restaurants and cafes. We had a rental car, so the included parking (in a nearby garage) was critical because having a vehicle inside the walls is challenging. (We had a Renault Captur and would not have wanted anything larger for driving and parking in Beaune - or Chablis or Reims, for that matter.) Joce was easy to communicate with and is an excellent host. Highly recommended!

The apartment was perfect for us. A quiet street near shops, restaurants and points of interest. Joce met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know to enjoy our stay, including laundry and kitchen use. She also helped us when we left- she is an excellent host. The parking close by was a big help, too.

We planned a trip to Burgundy as a couple with our adult cousin from Paris coming along. The accommodations are clean and beautiful! Lots of room! Beds were VERY comfortable. It’s in the BEST location - in walking distance to everything! The host was so nice. We definitely recommend staying here to anyone wanting to stay in Beaune!

Beginning with our wonderful host, Jocelyne, who picked us up at the train, we enjoyed a perfect week in Beaune while attending The Cook’s Atelier 5-day cooking school. This was the ideal place to stay, in town, around the corner from the school, close walk to all the amazing restaurants. The apartment is incredibly clean, comfortable, air conditioned, spacious and well stocked. I highly recommend for any length of stay. We will be back!

This apartment is fantastic! The location is absolutely perfect, right in the center of the old walled city, and close to shops, restaurants, the Hospices of Beaune. It is also a very comfortable and quiet apartment, and we were able to sleep well each night. You can walk or bike everywhere. We were in Beaune for 3 weeks without a car, and we rode our bikes on the vineyard bike trails, exploring Pommard, Volnay and Meursault. Joce is an amazing host! The apartment is spotless, and Joce was always ready to help with any requests we had. She gave us excellent recommendations for things to do, and made our stay very comfortable. Joce is a host who goes above and beyond, and I can’t say enough good things about our experience in Beaune, thanks to Joce and her beautiful apartment.

A lot of properties seem to get high ratings whether they truly deserve them or not. This one merits every star. Beautifully renovated two bedroom apartment run by a very friendly and helpful owner. It's also in an excellent location with many shops and restaurants literally on the same block in the "old" part of Beaune. There's no elevator to the first floor apartment that my wife and I stayed in but this wasn't any problem. It's only twenty stairs up (albeit twenty ancient curved stone stairs.) That might be the only drawback for someone who just couldn't get up a staircase. There is an elevator to the second floor apartment. We didn't see that place but have to assume it's equally well done. The appliances are all new and the apartment is very well equipped including a "welcome" bottle of wine and a couple of Burgundian special pastries. Everything was first rate. We have stayed in maybe 2 or 3 dozen rental homes and apartments in Europe and North America. This was one of the best. Highly , highly recommended.

A well maintained and attractive property in the perfect size old French town. The location is excellent. We were two healthy adult couples traveling together and this property worked very well for us. We enjoyed Beaune and used it as a base to tour Dijon and all of Burgundy. And, of course, Jocelyn was the perfect host, available and helpful when needed but left us alone otherwise. Please note that this property would not work for anyone with mobility issues or has difficulty walking up a stone spiral staircase. Also, the parking space was invaluable but be warned that the spaces are very small.

Our apartment was wonderful - very well equipped, clean and spacious. The location is great for exploring Beaune by foot, and it was helpful to have free parking at a nearby garage. Joce (the owner) speaks excellent English and booked some restaurants for us before our arrival - she went out of her way to be flexible and helpful. Jocelyne’s place is beautifully furnished and decorated, and in a wonderfully convenient location to many shops and restaurants. The nearby garage parking space was a real plus. Jocelyne met us on arrival and explained everything we needed to know about using the appliances, TV, and other features of the property. We already want to plan our next visit!

We stayed at this apartment for total 15 days, using it as a base to explore all there is in Burgundy. The apartment was even more beautiful than the photos. And super clean. Wonderfully well stocked. Jocelyne & her husband couldn’t do enough for us. They are the best hosts we ever experienced in France after many rental apartments we have had throughout the years. In fact, they should be awarded for the “best hosts” for HomeAway if there is such thing. Anyone who is interested in staying in Beaune, please go straight to this apartment.

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this lovely property in early June. It is exactly as described - - spacious dining area & living room with exposed stone, spacious renovated kitchen with everything you could possible need, 2 nicely appointed bedrooms with very comfortable mattresses (one BR has access to the outside balcony) and a nice bathroom with the toilet in a separate room. The apartment is very nicely styled, very clean, and in very good shape. You can tell that Joce and her husband reinvest in the property and keep it in excellent condition. One thing I particularly enjoyed was sitting by the windows in the living room that overlook the street leading to the restaurant / shop area - great people watching and I could also catch a little of the sunset. We were not at all disturbed by any street noise at night. Joce is an absolute pleasure to interact with. In advance of the trip her correspondence was timely and helpful. She met us promptly when we arrived and explained the apartment to us. She is SO well organized with the information she has for guests to get acclimated to Beaune, as well all of the items she has in the home. Anything we needed we found! I had to chuckle because I am also a very organized person so it was like we were "twins". Joce has a great personality and made us feel very comfortable in her home. My husband and I definitely recommend this rental!

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The pictures don't do the apartment justice. The owners are wonderfully kind. We had problems getting our rental car in Paris and ended up arriving in Beaune well after midnight but they stayed up to meet us, show us around the apartment and where to park the car (they have a spot in a nearby garage). The unit itself is very well appointed and centrally located in town. There is a bakery right across the street where we got fresh baguettes and croissants every morning for breakfast and picnics. Don't hold back on going to the gastronomic restaurants because of the astronomic prices...go early for the prix fixe dinners and you'll be pleasantly surprised! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next trip!

This is a fantastic apartment with parking which is a rarity in central Beaune. All the rooms are airy, large, and well lit. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen one could imagine with a lot of cooking utensils, pots, pans, and good sharp knives! The deck patio provided a perfect spot for our dinners. The bed was very comfortable as was the living room furniture. Centrally located, it is in walking distance of restaurants, museums, wine shops, the Saturday market, and Hotel Dieu. Joce is a wonderful host. She makes you feel at home immediately and is available any time for recommendations or assistance. She speaks fluent English which increases an English speaker's ability to take advantage of her wealth of knowledge.

Wow. I don't know where to start with the wonderful experience we had at this absolutely marvelous apt. It is clean, roomy, well decorated and equipped and the location is impossible to beat. In addition my husband and I can not say enough about how wonderful owners JOcelyn and Yan are. They go out of their way to be helpful An example- we wanted to watch the election returns on our tv but for some reason we couldn't. I called - and Yan and his son-in-law were there within 10 minutes and got it taken care of. It was evening and raining but they were gracious as can be. We were there 7 nights and I wished we could have stayed another 3 weeks. Beaune is a marvelous town and if you enjoy wine you are in the perfect location to taste the wines of Burgundy. Also great restuarants withIn easy walking distance If i tried I could not think of one complaint or problem. Surfice it to say we are going back in 2 yrs for a longer stay and it will be in the same apt. In addition the owners have other units 2 of witch are newly renovated And gorgeous also. This was our second trip to Beaune. My husband and I decided to sneak in an anniversary trip. Much to my delight, he selected France! This is largely due to the fact that his wish was to return to Beaune and to Beaune Rousseau specifically. We visited very briefly in the Summer of 2015. Our stay was only a couple of days, but long enough to know we wanted to come again. The property owners are wonderful. When I shared the details of our plan with them they worked to make it happen and to pick us up at the train. Beaune is a wonderful town in Burgundy, filled with delightful people and moments. And wine!!! The apartment is nestled in the middle of the old town. Above a restaurant that smells divine, and on the same block as a boulangerie, patisserie, chocolatier...need I say more. It sits below a lovely chapel and is just awesome. I will share with you that the photos don't do the property justice, the decor has been updated and is beautiful and relaxing. I want to see more of France, but I know that this was probably not my last visit to Beaune and Beaune Rousseau.

We enjoyed our stay at Beanue Rousseau very much! The apartment is beautiful and well equipped with a nice terrace to have your morning coffee or a glass of wine in the afternoon or evening. Joce provided a welcome package which was nice after our long trip. The location is perfect, parking included! Close to many restaurants, shops, wine tasting cellars and the Hospices de Beaune. Joce and Yan were the perfect hosts. They were extremely helpful and personable. Recommending restaurants and places to see and invited us to their home for a visit! The location is perfect to explore Beaune by foot or to use as a home base to explore the Cote d'Or countryside by car. The apartment has all the conveniences of home, and Joce and Yani go above and beyond to ensure you have a great stay. Their hospitality was truly remarkable. Highly recommended.

First of all, Joce is the best host of any VRBO we have stayed at(and we have stayed at a good many all over the world). She thought of absolutely everything. The very detailed guides on the area and recommendations were marvelous. I am a details person and she had them all. My husband and I stayed for three nights here as part of a larger France and Switzerland vacation. The place is beautiful and spacious and so close to everything we wanted to do. The town is very walkable and though we rented a car we barely used it. We only used it to make some wine appointments out of town. There are many must try places to eat and drink. Two of our favorites were Le P'tit Paradis for dinner and La Dilettante for lunch and great local wines. La Dilettante is very small so if you don't want to wait or chance it call ahead for a reservation. The mustard tasting at Fallot is also very good and interesting. You won't be disappointed with your choice to stay here.

This was a mother-daughter trip to the heart of Burgundy wine country, and our expectations were more than fulfilled. I've never met more helpful hosts than Joce and Yan. Example: for a variety of reasons our arrival was delayed, so we didn't arrive in Beaune until 1:00 AM, and our hosts were there at the apartment to move our luggage up the circular stone stairs, help us park our car in the free covered parking, and give us a quick tour of the apartment to answer any questions we might have. Unbelievable! There was also a welcome basket with bread and a bottle of local wine waiting for us. The apartment, in a centuries-old building, was light-filled, spacious, and included all modern amenities. The terrace and table were so inviting that even on the last day of November we sat outside for a glass of wine. The town of Beaune itself is beautiful, historically impressive, and charming. We followed Joce's advice on restaurants, wine tastings, and shops....and were never disappointed. One night they even drove us to a Michelin-starred restaurant because we had expressed an interest, and this was their favorite. This apartment had recently been re-done with new furniture. It was attractive and comfortable. We actually were so comfortable there that we didn't want to leave it. What a wonderful place. Thanks to Joce and Yan for helping to make our visit unforgettable!
