This was a lovely place to stay in Beaune. It was an easy and pleasant 5-10 min walk to central Beaune. The apartment is comfortable and well appointed with a lovely backyard to enjoy. Charlotte was a very responsive host. Would definitely stay here again if we come back to Burgundy!

The main strengths of this rental are its convenient location and outdoor space. We took ample advantage of both. The house is in a quiet area, just a short walk into town. We enjoyed the garden for meals and relaxing.We thank Charlotte and her parents for giving us lifts to and from the train station at the start and end of our stay. I've given a slightly lower score for ease of communication because we had problems calling French telephone numbers from our mobile (not a problem on other trips). It would have been useful to be able to email Charlotte directly, but evidently VRBO doesn't allow that. So we had to send messages via the VRBO website, a little clunky but workable.The one improvement I would suggest for the house would be a curtain or shade that could be pulled over the large window in the living room. In late afternoon the sun made the room unpleasantly hot. During very hot days we sometimes wanted to cool off inside, but that wasn't possible. The only air conditioning was in the bedrooms.Related to that, I tried the air conditioning only on our last night, in the front bedroom. It didn't cool the room but only made it stuffy. I didn't try the A/C in the other bedroom.Instead we relied on the traditional method of closing the wooden shutters during the day and opening them at night. That helped a lot, which is why something to deflect the sunlight in the living room would be beneficial.

What a great house to stay while in Beaune. It is a qucik 2 block walk from La Maison de Colombier. Extremely friendly and helpful owner. Easy check in process, and very responsive to requests. Would stay again.

We used Le Clos as our home away from home for our three week stay in Beaune. Great location - walking distance to the town, on the Voie de Vignes (ideal for bike riding) and near other towns in the region. Car is a must - and free parking nearby was very convenient. Charlotte and her mom were great hosts. Charlotte stayed in touch during our stay and helped address issues when a lightning storm took out the Internet. Kitchen was well stocked and the outside sitting area was nice on the cool evenings. Only thing that would have been better would be to have a microwave - but we are sort of popcorn addicts :) Highly recommend.

We loved the convenient, walkable location and the home itself was wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the small kitchen had everything we needed, and the huge outdoor space was amazing. Dominique met us and was very kind and patient with my limited French. We would definitely stay here again. The only caution would be if you are very tall (like my husband, 6’8” or just over 2 meters), the entryway ceiling is low, but it was fine upstairs in the bedroom area. Many thanks to Charlotte and Dominique!

The house is extremely well maintained with its old charm preserved and the added convenience of modern amenities. It's a place that feels like home. The pictures do not do it justice. The location is easy to park and within a less than 10-minute walk to everywhere. The hostess gave us some helpful recommendations.

Spotlessly clean, well equipped, with exellent facilities and very convenient for walking to Centre Ville. Wonderful welcome and very friendly hosts. Terrific restaurants with excellent food and warm hospitality. Lotsof lovely artisan bakers, patisseries and local shops in walking distance. Lots to do on foot and cycle hire easily available. Burgundy wine tour was terrific. Office de tourisme only 10 minute walk from house. Lovely setting and very quiet. Free parking available close by. Beaune is stunning - a walled city, small enough to be intimate but so much to see and do.

We had a lovely time during our stay in Beaune. The apartment was in a perfect location, close to the town and also close enough to walk or bike to the vineyards. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the private courtyard. Thank you Charlotte and Dominique for helping us get to and from the train station.

Charlotte and her Dad were wonderful hosts. Her Dad met us at the train station in a downpour and walked us through the apartment. The outdoor space was amazing. It was a wonderful location. Be sure to try Table du Square, it is close by and doesn’t look like much from the street but was a great meal and space. We used the dishwasher and washing machine( no dryer) and both worked well. It is an induction stove top with which we were unfamiliar and could only get one pan to work, but it was enough. There is a Lidl’s close by for basic provisions. The Sat market is wonderful. Have a great stay in Beaune!

This property was even better than expected! It was extremely clean upon arrival. The bedrooms were spacious and the outdoor area had so many wonderful seating options to choose from. It was in a very convenient location to walking to the shops, restaurants, bike rental, etc in Beaune. Our host was so kind to pick us up from the train station upon our arrival. It was very much appreciated after an overnight flight from the US to Paris and a day in Paris walking 10 miles. Charlotte made our night by picking us up!

Yes place is a gym place to stay. It what is meticulous, very comfortable, and so close to the town center. We love sitting out in the spacious garden. It was even a bigger place than we expected. The owner was responsive and a great help. Felt so lucky to find this place.

The apartment was lovely and located in a quiet street near the park in Beaune ... everything was within walking distance ... CenterVille, bike rental (for visiting the wineries!), and more! We enjoyed our stay here. When we arrived, Charlotte met us at the property and provided an overview of the features. She also showed great hospitality with a nice bottle of premiere cru Burgundy! The property was very clean and the backyard area was a nice addition. The location of Charlotte's is great: close to the city centre, the bike path to the vineyards, and a lovely neighborhood park.

Lovely place. Very non-descript from the outside but all is very nice inside. Close to center of town with a 5 minute walk. Very comfortable. All systems working well. Back patio is delightful. We made dinner for the 4 of us twice using the charcoal grill. Great place to have dinner and a glass or more of wine. Would definately stay again.

This property checked all the boxes – modern, clean, close proximity to the attractions of Beaune with all the amenities we needed for a week-long stay. The kitchen was small but well equipped. The interior seating area was spacious enough that the four adults in our group never felt crowded. We also took advantage of the outdoor courtyard every day. Charlotte was very responsive to our trip planning questions and her mother gave us excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. We are planning to return for a longer stay. I highly recommend this property.

The accommodation was tastefully furnished and decorated and well equipped. We had everything we needed and loads of space to sit outside in very quiet surroundings. The owner was pleasant and helpful and on hand to sort out the one minor problem we had getting tv reception. Very convenient for the town centre with plenty of restaurants, patisseries and other shops and handy, of course for places to sample and buy wine.

This apartment is a very clean, quiet, well-decorated, well-equipped rental. We especially enjoyed the private outdoor courtyard. It was a great spot for morning coffee or afternoon wine. The location is great for walking to the many restaurants and wine tasting venues. It was also near the Saturday market...beautiful! There is conveniently located on the street parking nearby. Charlotte is very easy to work with and quickly responses to messages. We hope to visit again. We loved Beaune and really enjoyed this rental.

This is a very special property, an old village house which has been renovated in modern style with all conveniences. The location is perfect, on the outskirts of the central town, but within 10 minutes walk of every museum, shop, restaurant. In the other direction is a park, bicycle paths and vineyards. The garden and terrace are fantastic, including a covered area where we took our meals when it was raining. Charlotte and her mother were very warm and welcoming. We loved this place and our stay here.

There is only one toilet which could be an issue if there were four people staying there. Good thing there was only the two of us. There is no microwave and fridge is tiny, as is the kitchen. We both are good cooks but it took some manuevering to make a meal. They need a fry pan. The location was ideal and we loved it for that reason!

Location just outside the ramparts of Beaune is convenient for exploring the city on foot and for driving to other places in the region; free parking always available on Rue du Parc just around the corner. Wonderful outdoor enclosure in back of house, with high stone walls that keep out noise but admit lovely flower scents at night. The kitchen was well equipped for self-catering (best general grocery shopping we found was at the large Carrefour on Avenue Charles de Gaulle, on the far side of the old city). Very pleasant in all respects.

We loved staying here, it was such a nice break from our life in New York City. The exterior glass wall of the living room sides open to connect with a beautiful garden where we had wonderful dinner parties. The open kitchen allows the entire first floor to flow in interrupted. Upstairs two well proportioned bedrooms make the space comfortable for four people. Beaune has a rich history and the location of this house is perfect. We went for a jog in one direction and we were in the vineyards. The other direction lead us to a path around the city that follows the old battlements. Finally, Charlotte is fabulous and very welcoming which only added to our stay.

We stayed at Charlotte's place and loved it. Very comfortable bed, amazing location, perfect little kitchen big yard to relax and sun in. Charlotte was a great host, and her place is highly recommended for your stay in Beaune. Its literally right outside the city walls and a one minute walk right into the city center. Great duck pond and park right nearby was a major plus, as it added a fun and beautiful stop before our 1 minute walk into town everyday.

Maison indépendante ravissante, confortable, calme avec un beau jardin intérieur sans vis-à-vis. Un vrai cocon à deux pas à pied du centre historique et des commerces. Tout près aussi, toujours sans voiture, d'un joli parc appréciable pour les enfants en bas âge et de ballades dans les vignes. Nous avons passé une semaine en famille des plus agréables.
