Casa Colle Petroso

The setting is absolutely beautiful and the pool area is spectacular (much more modern than the house). Amazing sunset views. It's very remotely located - a good piece of mountain driving in either direction to the closest store - so if that's what you're after this is perfect.

We were a little surprised to find that you need to pay extra fees for bed sheets and for towels - I'm told it's somewhere in the fine print, so I must've missed it. The payment for towel and bed sheet rental need to be made via PayPal to the owner so it may be worth setting that up in advance of your trip if you don't have PayPal already. The payment request only comes a couple of days before checking in. The house is quite old which is charming in a way, but know what you're getting into. It's very dimly lit, many lights don't work, toilet seats are cracked, windows don't have curtains (i.e. early morning wakeup), etc. If that old, dated, Italian charm is what you're looking for, you'll really enjoy this.

Zeer mooie afgesloten accommodatie
