Casa Vacanze Squarcialupi

Easy check in at reception with lovely staff who explained everything. The pool is stunning, The bed was very comfortable, there were extra pillows which was great.

The parking wasn't great, for the apartments its down a steep hill and then in the car park there is almost ledges, a defined space for each car with concrete ledges, i think the design makes sense if the rest of the land was higher but the ledges means it was like driving over curbs to park on an angle down a hill. Very strange and not fun - we also had a small car. Ideally the apartment would have a chopping board, it did not and this was very inconvenient. It would also be good to be able to have more than one tea towel and one set of towels, it felt like I used a wet towel for three days which was not ideal. There was a heated towel rail but it didn't work, the bottom just got wet so yeah the wet towel situation was horrible, there also wasn't a clothes airer so you could put it outside. There were ALOT of mosquitos so some citronella candles would be a welcome addition so you can sue the outdoor space.

Very quiet with great view.

Very clean

Appartement door not blocking the noise from the staircase
