You'll find bicycles on site at this pet-friendly vacation home. Jump into your car and make short work of the 20-minute drive to Monteriggioni Castle or the 18-minute drive to Isole e Olena Winery (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Lovely pool overlooking the landscape from a hilltop. Could see Siena on a clear day. Only complaint was that the weather was unseasonably cool for that time of year in May. Owner told us that he would charge us if we turned the heat on, and that heating is very expensive. We didn't use the heat, and a couple of us did catch cold. Other than that we were fine. Owner gave us a fine bottle of Chianti wine when we checked in.

I like the place a lot! It is not far from town but is very isolated. Etruscan Necropolis is in a backyard! The inside of the appartment is very nice. There are all necessry staff in the kitchen. And you can have a real fire in the chimney. It was a bit cool over night as we visited in the end of October. And hot water was not very hot.

Il Poggino is an enchanting place. Federico, Biagio, and Khaoutar are friendly and helpful. The stunning grounds are kept immaculately. Perfect location for exploring the Chianti region. The apartment is very clean and comfortable.
