Borgo Sicelle Residence

Bellissima e curata piscina, bella l’idea della sala giochi con ping pong e calcio balilla. Appartamento grande e dotato di tutto, in particolare grande attenzione anche al kit di benvenuto, spesso molto essenziale. Ci hanno fatto trovare caffè, sale, olio, zucchero e acero balsamico, oltre ad una bottiglia di Chianti di benvenuto.

Nulla tutto ok.

Wir waren für eine Woche in der Toskana und hatten uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden, da man von dort aus sehenswerte Orte wie Siena, Florenz etc. gut erreichen kann. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sehr ruhig gelegen mit einer sehr guten Osteria direkt nebenan. Die Anlage ist einfach nur wunderschön. Die Zimmer sind rustikal und gemütlich eingerichtet, vom Pool hat man einen herrlichen Ausblick und es gibt einen Gemeinschaftsraum, wo man Spiele spielen, Grillen oder einfach nur ein Gläschen Wein bei schöner Aussicht genießen kann. Die Gastgeber sind wirklich sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und sind jederzeit bereit, ihre Tipps und Empfehlungen weiterzugeben, was das Planen von Ausflügen erleichtert. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Our boys are now 20 and 18 years old and I think this was my favourite summer holiday out of many! The location is stunning, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees and extremely relaxing. You do need a car but only need to drive half an hour or so to Florence and Siena and less than that to countless other beautiful hilltop towns and villages. Silvia and Franco are probably the loveliest hosts we've met; exceptionally helpful and beautifully discreet at the same time so you feel like they're always there but never watching you 😊. They couldn't have been more helpful regarding sightseeing and also booked a fabulous wine tasting at a vineyard just a 15-minute-walk away. There's a restaurant 20m away (with the best food I ate in ten days in Tuscany) so a couple of days we didn't actually leave Sicelle. The apartment we stayed in was spacious and private with three double en suite rooms which was perfect for our family of four adults and the site itself is also a nice size with a great pool and games room. Finally, the sunsets every night were a real highlight!!

Only that we had to leave!!
