Beautiful character farm accommodation in a stunning setting yet only a minute or two from Castellina

Everything! Stunning location, beautiful character farmhouse accommodation that was clean, well appointed, and spacious. Amazing views over vineyards and olive groves. We stayed 5 nights and wish we’d had longer. Loved being on a working farm with beautiful Castellina - the best Tuscan village we’ve visited so far - at the top of the driveway.

The apartment is situated in a rustic farmhouse just 15 minute walk from the centre of Castellina. It is well appointed in a traditional style - the bedrooms were large and airy and there are some beautiful outdoor terraces to eat supper and admire the views and wonderful sunsets.

Being an old building, some facilities would benefit from a little attention but this didn’t distract from our enjoyment of the the property.

A stunningly beautiful place with views over olive groves and vineyards. So much charm and lovely details throughout. The view is unrealistically beautiful – it feels like a dream!

Nice location, but would choose a different apartment at the property next time

Everything was well-taken care of including the apartment and its interior. Our host was very kind and very responsive all the time. Especially when it came to additional cleaning of the apartment so that our little one felt well crawling :)

Our apartment was situated at the non-sunny side of the hill and hence was mostly quite dark during daytime so that we had to switch on the lights all the time. Location was not well suited to reach Castellinas city center with a stroller as we were traveling with our 10 months old son. But we could have researched this better. The sun umbrellas at the pool were not real umbrellas but made out of plastic foil.

The views were very nice.

The driveway was horrendous. I will never go back just because of the driveway. Bottoms out the car at the beginning. You need a strong stomach to do the drive. The kitchen was also poorly equipped. The is a mosquito infestation outside our door. I can go on and on.

Spacious bedrooms and locations. Good deal considering we booked last minute. Easy check-in and close to the city.

Beautiful apartment in a charming place

Very charming accommodation in the middle of vineyards. The location is very scenic, especially at sunset. The apartment is vast and beautiful, only rustic in appearance as the wifi, heating and other amenities work perfectly well.

Don't forget to stop at the grocery store in the village before your stay because there's no basic ingredient in the kitchen except for dish soap - not even salt or coffee.

Fabulous stay in central tuscany !!!

- the farmhouse is wonderful and quaint and hugely functional - Monica the host, was extremely attentive and supportive any time i needed assistance - and provided insights and guidance to things to do and see - the dog, Guya, treated me like family and always made me feel welcome at home - the scenery around not only the farm but also the whole area and tuscany in general is breathtaking and almost spiritual - location was excellent - provided easy and quick access to many of the highlights of tuscany - siena, florence, pienza, pisa, san gimignano and montepulcianp - and of course the lovely village of castellina in chianti - furniture and fixings within the two bedroom apartment was very good as was the functionality and amenities of the kitchen

Amazing and restful Tuscany stay

Beautiful surroundings of the appartment buildings by vineyards and panoramatic views of a valley. Enough room in the appartment, fully equipped, even with private grill, owners are very hospitable. There is an offer of mostly red wines and olive oil. Swimming pool is also great benefit in the summer, it was kept clean. Covered parking, not too far from the village by a walk, but you need to go uphill.

Some details could be found of course, but the overall experience was great.

Amazing

We loved this place! The commodity, the location, the host (Monica), and all about the farmhouse were perfect! Also, the town is lovely with nice restaurants and places to test different types of wine. I definitely recommend this place to anyone!

Spaciousness, cleanliness of facilities, outlook and serenity.

Nothing really, although a nice touch would be to have a small quantity of basic amenities like tea/coffee/milk in readiness of travellers arrival.

A Farmstay 1km from the town centre

An adequately equipped 1 bedroom apartment in a larger building in a vineyard. The shower was great and the bed comfortable. The pool was much appreciated given the succession of 7 days over 30°. A rural situation only 1km from the town centre.

The apartment was very dark inside and enjoyed very little natural daylight early in the morning and was then in shadow for the rest of the day. The road in and out was more a track and badly rutted.

Naprosto fantastické ubytování v samotném srdci Toskánska, úžasné výhledy a atmosféra, hostitelka velmi milá a nápomocná, ubytování velmi útulné a čisté, nic nám nechybělo, velmi oceňuji venkovní posezení u každého pokoje, které jen podtrhne toskánskou atmosféru se sklenkou vína.

Séjour d'une semaine

Emplacement calme en pleine nature au milieu des vignes. Très bel environnement, piscine très propre mais un peu fraîche . Chemin d'accès très en pente mais accès possible au village de castellina à pied. Le petit plus est la possibilité d'aller au spa de l'hôtel qui est vraiment très beau. Un très bon séjour en toscane ou nous sommes restés une semaine

Ottimo, location incantevole, struttura davvero bella e ben curata.

La colazione in Albergo molto variegata e abbondante. C'era praticamente di tutto da chi ama il dolce a chi ama il salato. Direi che la considero una ottima colazione. Un appunto solo sul cappuccino che non era all'altezza delle aspettative. Il resto davvero ottimo.

Il cappuccino, la macchinetta che lo eroga non e' di buona qualita', ma giusto per cercare il pelo nell'uovo.

Très beau et très reposant !

Superbe ferme rénovée et réhabilitée en plusieurs logements, au milieu des vignes et des oliviers. Vue incroyable de la terrasse en pierres (Logement "Ginestra"), maison très bien équipée, propre, au top pour une famille de 4 (2 enfants de 11 et 16 ans). Piscine en contre bas (à partager avec les autres logements), des transats pour se dorer la pillule dans un magnifique cadre. Le village est à 15 min à pieds (ça grimpe !) ou à 2 minutes en voiture, avec restos, bars, etc... Très sympa et reposant, à quelques encablures de Florence. Je recommande ! :)
