Ferienwohnung Aumühle

We went to see Salzburg and the surrounding area, and the accommodation was perfect for this purpose. Quiet, spacious area, plenty of parking, direct bus to Salzburg 5 minutes walk away. The accommodation is in a 100+ year old water mill building. The stream flows right next to the wall, under the windows, an interesting sight :) The accommodation was very spacious, a huge hall and dining room and corridor, a large room and a bedroom, the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was as good as the pictures. The kitchen was equipped with everything, there are pots, pans, microwave, coffee maker, capsules for it, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, etc. In the yard there is a swing and trampoline for the children, a small house with a ping pong table, these were the children's favorites. At the end of the garden, 9 sheep grazed, fenced in, and you could pet them. In summary: a cozy, unique experience in an old mill building, we were completely satisfied!

Nothing special, maybe the 3 types of selective trash cans caused difficulties for me as a foreigner, it wasn't completely clear what to put in which.

Welcome from the host and the house was prepared very well. Super clean and everything kept neatly. She also gave us larger rooms to accommodate our request for 2 bathrooms. Very close to Austrian border - so we could go to Salzburg for eating each day.

Lovely hosts, very friendly and accommodating (allowed us to do early check in). Located in a very quiet area just off the main road, lots of parking space. Only 20 minutes drive from Salzburg. Spacious ground apartment.

Unfortunately we were not entirely pleased with our stay. The bedroom had stuffy air which despite opening the window did not go away (perhaps water leak/ mould in the wall). We had no choice but to sleep on a second bed in the living room to avoid our 1 year old son to breathe that (we had to move topper and linen as the second bed was undone). In the kitchen a few dirty dishes and cutlery pieces. Toilet access with glass door is from the open space kitchen so not ideal if someone is eating.
