The hotel is well-located with stunning views of the lake. The bedroom was very comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake and mountains. The restaurant was excellent, with a very good selection of dishes.

I would stay again if not staying above terrace

The view was stunning but I was above a terrace so the noise was there in the evenings unfortunately

When I arrived I told the staff I didn’t feel very well. They assisted with location of pharmacy. I never got a a call later or the next morning to see how I was, in fact I saw the same woman when I left my key the next day and she said nothing. Would have been nice.

Gorgeous property in a beautiful and convenient location. The views are spectacular. The funicular is so useful. After hours, use the call button to open. The pillow bar is great.

The rooms are only ok. The pillow bar is great but the beds are quite firm. This was my second stay and several basics—soap, conditioner & body wash were missing from my room and the tablet was not charged. Also the balcony had many spider webs that need to be cleared. Stay in a higher room so the noise below is not disturbing as the staff prepares for the day. I love this hotel but my first stay was much better.

The location was wonderful, and so was the hotel — but the staff was disappointing.

The hotel itself and its location were great, and even the breakfast exceeded expectations.

We booked this property specifically because it mentioned private parking was included. However, upon arrival in the evening, the receptionist was rude and dismissive, telling us to park on a random street in town due to “no available spaces.” At a rate of €700 per night, it's absolutely unacceptable not to provide parking when it is clearly listed as included. After firmly insisting, a more helpful colleague finally stepped in and directed us to the underground garage — where, surprisingly, plenty of spaces were available. This kind of attitude and misleading information is not what you'd expect from a hotel in this price range.

The hotel is nicely located and with the funicular it is a 10 minute walk into town. The Free bus pass was helpful and a useful supplement. Very nice breakfast room though selection of breakfasts was modest and we were daily assailed by thumping music in there -quite inappropriate to the setting and to relaxation.

We stayed 4 nights here and on tow of them weddings were held downstairs on the ground floor. We are on the fifth floor and staff advised it would be noisy on the second and third floors but not on the fifth. The hotel allows event music to go to 2am in the morning. Although the hotel monitors the sound in the room and insists on maximum decibel limit this does not take account of vibration transmission through the building. the upshot was on the second wedding night we were woken by thumping music at 11.45 pm and this continued to 2am. Heaven knows what is was like for guests on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors. Our complaint was "dealt" with by a 10% discount on the bill - really inadequate given the loss of 1 nights sleep - -should have been 25% at least. But that wasnt th point -all guests would have been inconvenienced. Basically its a choice - have paying guests or weddings but not both unti lthe hotel manages the noise issue better. The hotel is clearly aware of the issue but is close to saying we can do no more -not so and not least to advise guests in advance of booking whether there will be noise -guests can then choose whether they stay there. My discussion with the finance director was at best a token gesture on thier part -it would be raised at management committee! I wasnt allowed to speak to the general manager as requested. I also mentioned that the hotel has installed hot tubs in the suites on the roof -when on they too vibrate through the structure. All in all this is a poorly run hotel.

A Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The rooms were beautifully decorated, spotless, and offered stunning views of Lucerne. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always making sure I felt welcome.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything was fantastic and made for a memorable stay.

Perfect long weekend. A lake view room is a must! Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Location is ideal.

Location was perfect with such amazing views. There’s a funicular from street level right to hotel lobby so no steps or steep inclines. Staff are fantastic. It’s a lovely 10-15min stroll along waterfront to the boats, bridge and old town.

Could have had more outdoor seating for drinks. Even though the weather was nice, the outdoor area was covered up and closed for most of our visit.

Amazing hotel!!!

When we checked in, Lyn showed us to our room on the 5th floor. We stay at ADM during our last week of our vacation to Europe. Therefore I spurged on the room. The room Lyn showed us was not the room I had requested when I made my reservation back in Aug. Lyn was amazing and quickly turned the rooms around so that we had the room I had wanted. We were very pleased and enjoyed the hot tub and the views for our 6 night stay.

Comfortable hotel with great views however beware of shower!

Comfortable room with a comfortable bed. Coffee and tea maker in the room. Good breakfast with fabulous views of the lake from the breakfast room. Despite below I would recommend this hotel for comfort and beautiful views.

I had a problem with the shower during my stay. At home or in any other hotel in fact I would put the shower on before getting in to make sure of the temperature of the water. I did this and the water shot out of the door all over the floor and me and in trying to turn the shower off quickly I slipped and bruised my foot and leg quite badly. I informed reception on checking out and they were less than sympathetic. Apparently in Switzerland this is not a normal thing to do. Swiss people would get in the shower, take the shower head off its stand and test the water with their hand - who knew! Firstly the shower cubicle was small so it would be difficult to do this without getting some water possibly too hot or cold on you and secondly if this is the procedure in Switzerland instructions should be provided so that unwitting foreigners like me don’t come a cropper! I was annoyed that the hotel did not take responsibility for the shower issue. I was offered my room service fee on breakfast to be taken off the bill and then very begrudgingly the city tax and the chocolate bars and one Coca Cola from the mini bar to be taken off the bill. How generous!

Breathtaking views from my terrace. Beautiful and spacious room. Top notch service with quality room products. This hotel has an amazing Michelin star restaurant that exceeded my expectations. Will definitely stay here again.
