La Citadine

Catherine und Ihr Mann sind ein super gastfreundliches Paar. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut, es wurden schöne Ausflugstipps gegeben und gute Lokale empfohlen. Auch für unsere Fahrräder wurde eine gute Abstellmöglichkeit im eigenen Garten geschaffen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Very clean with thoughtful amenities; good location for walking around village.

Bedroom is upstairs and bathroom is downstairs. There is an additional flight of stairs to enter apartment so be certain climbing stairs is not a problem for you.

Immaculate, comfortable and spacious apartment! Catherine was so warm welcoming and generous with the information about both the apartment and the area! She greeted us with a fresh pot of coffee and freshly baked apple cakes that were divine! The apartment has everything you could want, and the bed was very comfortable! Great location. Within walking distance to restaurants, shops and patisseries! She had great suggestions of where to go for treats and such. Bayeux is a beautiful historic town!

Catherines asks that you take your shoes off to go up the wood stairs, where the bedroom is. Luckily we had house shoes as both of us have foot issues and cannot walk in bare feet. Guests should be made aware in advance to bring slippers, in casethey are like us.

It is clean, functional, very close to town. It has everything you could want or need and comes with excellent hosts Catherine and Pascal who were fantastic.

The only thing we didn’t like was leaving.
