Awful experience. Not recommended

Central location

We didn’t manage to stay. When we arrived, there was no one there to let us in, and we were left waiting on the street with our two small children after hours of driving. No one was answering the phone, and after 45 minutes someone finally answered, telling us that they had sent us an email with instructions to enter manually on our own. We never received any email. Moreover, when she tried to open the door remotely while speaking to us on the phone, the door wouldn’t open, and she kept insisting that we pull it, although it clearly wasn’t working. The system she uses is very poor, and the service was completely unprofessional. After a long conversation on the phone, she eventually came in person, but even then she couldn’t open the door herself. We finally got in because someone happened to be leaving the building. When we told her that we hadn’t received any email, she kept insisting she had sent it and claimed it was a problem with Booking.com and not her fault. She told us we needed to speak with Booking.com. However, she is the one who chose to run her rooms this way. Then she led us to the room I had booked, which was supposed to have 1 double bed and 2 single beds, as clearly selected through Booking. Instead, she showed us two separate rooms and kept insisting that this was considered “one room.” There was no clear communication on her part, and instead of apologizing to her guests, she kept repeating that the problem was with Booking.com. In the end, she even told us we could leave and not take the room if we didn’t like it! Her attitude was unacceptable, as was the entire service. Needless to say, we did not stay, and we do not recommend this place, as the service is completely inadequate and her behavior utterly unprofessional. Attached message that she sent to apologize for her rude behavior.

Although a nice place an an excellent breakfast, we we almost not able to enter due to a technical problem.

Nice place, good bed, formidable breakfast

The electronic entry (app) did not work, probably a problem of the router with access to Internet (the Internet was not accessible either and we were told by the housekeeper the next morning that the Internet had been unavailable since 1700 in the afternoon). We accept that this may happen, however unfortunate. However, the owner did neither react to a message via booking.com, nor was his listed mobile number available. This is completely unacceptable. We were only able to enter by sheer luck as somebody left the building, and a second person helped us to access the hallway. We had tried for half an hour by then, and were about to abandon and find another hotel.

The property is perfectly located, walking distance (just 15 minutes) to the center. Mrs Elsa is amazingly nice, we really enjoyed her great attitude and dedication. The communication was easy. The breakfast was fresh and tasty. Thank you!

The family attic suite is far from being a "palace" and hardly liveable. There are aggressive narrow stairs leading to the leaving space, not shown on the pictures. Getting up and down with big suitcases was challenging. The ceiling is less than 2 meters. Two tiny windows and one small AC unit serving three rooms. There was a portable AC requiring an opеn window to put the pipe outside; we couldn't use it because an open window just neutralized the cooling; besides, it is extremely noisy. The sleeping space with two beds in the niches has no window. We also didn't find a socket near one of the beds on the niche. The breakfast is slow and not flexible, starting at 8:30, and operated by one person. The food is fine, but the choice is poor. No vegetables, no regular cheese, mostly sweets. No buffet, you are served and ask for specials (eggs, for example) We should have definitely booked a regular hotel, paying 20% more, but having a normal stay.

Spectacular stay! I would stay here every time I go to Torino. The room was beautiful, so comfortable and spacious, the host was the sweetest and the breakfast was amazing. I really recommend this place, I didn’t want to leave.

A wonderful stay in a historic building in central Turin

A delicious breakfast spread that included homemade cakes. The room and adjoining bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owner was incredibly warm, welcoming, and friendly. She even accommodated my travel companion's need for an extra early breakfast (due to her train departure time).

While the double bed in the room was very comfortable, the single bed was quite narrow and not so comfortable. I'm guessing for a child, this is OK, but there were 2 of us friends traveling together.

great accommodation in a chic and historical building in the centre of the city.

its location was ideal for our one-day visit to Turin. even though we had a “murphy's-law” situation during check-in, our host responded timely and remedied the situation immediately. the breakfast the next morning was also great thanks to wonderful home-baked tarts and pastries provided by Elsa the attendant.

Lovely place to explore Torino oozing of character! Clean and comfortable.

The property is relatively central. The building is Beuatiful, even the elevator had style! The room was big, clean and comfortable. Because i had an early departure they opened the breakfast room early for me! Breakfast was great - even freshly cut delicious fruit salad was available - the best i had for breakfast at a hotel.

I would have preferred if the bathroom was in the room - but i should mention it was right across the door, spacious and clean. Also the automatic hotel lock was finicky.

I love Turin.

Great location within walking distance of major attractions. The hotel is located in a beautiful, historic building. There is a large common room for breakfast and relaxation in the evening,. The host was kind and helpful.

The doors were very squeaky and did not close properly, so it was impossible to use the bathroom in the night without waking up everybody. The rooms could use more electrical outlets for charging phones.

Elsa is the best! Her warmth is the best thing to wake up to…. and the delicious smell of breakfast being prepared of course!

Only complaint are tiny ants that could be seen at times crawling on the floor, not surprising in an old building with open windows.

Fabulous location for our trip to Turin.

Our family of five stayed in the attic room of this gorgeous B+B. It was the ideal place from which to venture out and explore the city. We loved the breakfast every morning and the accommodation was very comfortable.
