It was quirky and homely. The hosts were exceptional. The owners also have a bar/ restaurant and the food is typically traditional. We ate there for the 3 nights of our stay. Met some lovely people. Also a local band playing the first night we were there. Paola is an amazing chef and Johnny very entertaining. Gisela was also awesome, great at English and explaining the menu.

The casa has so much charm! We felt immersed in the locale, with beautiful views and the comforts of home. Every space was sparkling clean. Paola was a dream, making us feel like we were visiting family! The breakfast spread in the garden each morning was the cherry on top for us.
We visited during an unprecedented heat wave, so the lack of air conditioning was the only thing that affected our comfort in any way. (No fault of the hostess, of course!)

itzicht vanuit de keuken en 1 slaapkamer.
Veel ventilatoren maar desondanks heel warm
Veel trappen lopen, ook met bagage maar man van accomodatie hielp mee.

Bed op de benedenverdieping was een matras op een plank met daaronder een spiraal. Slaapt niet fijn.
Douchecabine was zo klein dat je je bijna niet kon omdraaien.
Ontbijt was matig, oud brood; wel zelfgemaakte droge taartjes en jam, yogurt met paar bramen. Eerste dag kaas en vlees tweede dag niet meer.
Stond vermeld dat de tuin na t ontbijt niet meer beschikbaar was voor klanten. Ondanks de hitte bleef dit zo. Jammer.
In Carate Urio is niet veel te beleven.
Afstand naar de aanlegsteiger vd boot is zeker 20min lopen.
