Pleasant stay with amazing friendly staff

We had a very pleasant stay at Madhuban house! It's a heritage house that's nicely decorated. The staff was super super friendly and the area is quiet with some nice food options around. The rooms were comfortable, clean and breakfast was nice too. We had dinner once which was alright but not the best. Apart from that we would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed our stay very much

We enjoyed a lot staying at Madhuban hotel. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, enough hot water. There is an open roof, so we were able to practice yoga. The staff was super friendly and helped us a lot in everything we asked. Good breakfast. We were missing vegetables, and ask if we could get some, and immediately got what we asked.

The internet wasn't always good and fast. It was a bit inconvenient for us, because we needed to work online. But if you don't work, than this is not a problem.

Great experience!

A beautiful building in a quiet area of Jaipur. Lovely staff and they made us sandwiches for our early train when they knew we’d miss breakfast. Highly recommend! We enjoyed our stay here.

Not the quality and hygiene we expected

Beautiful garden around.

1. Not clean enough. The bed linens and pillow was very dirty. Washroom was just functional 2. Not senior citizen friendly. The beds are very high for senior citizens to climb. 3. We arrived late. The staff was very reluctant to help. Had to carry our own bags. It was cold and late in the night. At check in the staff insisted we first finish the check in standing in the cold outside. We had a kid and old person and requested if they can step inside the property but the staff was not paying any heed to our request. 4. Breakfast is very basic.

It’s a quiet stay at a good location

Location was great and rooms were clean and cozy

Although the property mention parking, there is no parking, you need to park outside the property which is a risk one of our rooms room no-16, also didn’t have a geyser and the staff switches it on when told and they switch it off at their own convenience

Pleasant Stay

Traditional architecture with lots of greenery around including a well maintained garden to relax; convenient location to get to all points of interest by auto rickshaw or taxi. Very generous breakfast and extremely helpful and hospitable staff.

The beds are single with a narrow width and arranged next to each with very heavy wooden frames but don’t join well for comfort. Ideally, the hotel could do with some proper double beds for guests.

Very pretty building. Comfy beds and proper duvet! Helpful and kind staff. Pool looked nice although we didn’t use it.

Beautiful heritage home

The breakfast was excellent. Eggs and toast cooked by the lovely man in charge of the restaurant. Plenty of options available. The hotel was a beautiful example of a heritage home. Lovely that it is still in the same family. Nice garden and lounge. Attractive spaces to sit in on each floor. Colonial decor. Good showers. Comfortable beds. Vijayawada, the driver, was very friendly and helpful when we hired him for a day.

Good size rooms, (with living space) air con, fridges in room, staff opened up restaurant for us when we arrived, early check in, late check out included.

Perhaps the map of the city could have been provided when we arrived not when we left.

Excellent relaxing stay

Great location because it is a quiet residential area but handy for a short ride to the centre. The staff are brilliant and cannot do enough to help you. Tasty breakfast. Nice garden area.

Beautiful quiet Hotel

Beautiful quaint quiet hotel with beautiful garden and trees, an oasis in the middle of the suburbs. Staff were very helpful and friendly, food including breakfast was delicious, food was cheaper than city prices, room was clean and shower good. Bed was comfortable. Close to train station.

Dogs around the side road. But this is India .dogs everywhere n they tend to be worse in morning...out of town, so no walking into town, need tuk tuk, but that's why it's nice and quiet. ..

I book for Royal Suite and 2nd was Suite both were of similar kind and was very comfortable.

Room service was not available, water bottle is served by hotel in the room for free but they charges Rs.60 for a liter of bislery, breakfast was decent, Lift wasn’t available as i was offer room on 2nd floor it was quite difficult with family

A highlight

Our stay at Madhuban was one of the highlights during our travel in India. It is a sereen, beautiful place, with lots of character. The staff is kind, professional and helpful. Breakfast is extensive and meals are really tasty.

Comfortable stay

The hotel was comfortable, and it was trying to be eco-friendly by using solar power to heat up the water, but then you would have water running for 15mins to warm up the water. The captured water would be to water the garden. Beds were comfortable, and although some distance from the Pink City, it was easy to get to by taxi or Tuk Tuk

The breakfast was minimal. However, they offered eggs along with your choice in cooking. The pool was available, but due to the location of the pool, it was best to use in the morning.

Old Indian experience

Big room, bit oldstyle and outdated, but had its own charisma. Hotel is in a residential area - you wake up with singing birds and not with honking cars. Nice stuff who cares about guests. :)
