I would not recommend this place due to the staff and privacy. There are much better places to stay in plaka.

Very clean!

Paid for a private balcony with a hot tub. The walk way is infront of all the rooms so there is no privacy with the guests/staff or anybody walking through the place. Was given an alternative when the hot tub was not working but there was hardly any communication on if it was fixed and when the maintenance would come. There was also no way to communicate when you were home and if you wanted your roomed clean so the cleaning service walked in on me even when I asked to not come into the studio. The staff were very cold and helped very little there were no hellos/welcomes/safe trip/ hope you are enjoying your stay. When asking for anything it felt like pulling teeth. This is a family spot so be prepared for screaming children running around.

Rating: 10/10 – Superb We had a perfect stay at Annio Studios! The location is outstanding—just a short walk from the beach and surrounded by lovely restaurants, charming cafés, and a handy supermarket. Malagas Beach is nearby and absolutely fantastic for families. The house itself is beautifully designed—every detail has been thoughtfully considered. It’s spacious, stylish, and feels like its own little ecosystem, surrounded by cacti and a variety of plants that create a serene, inviting atmosphere. The small pool is ideal for a refreshing dip during siesta time, and there’s even a playground for the kids, a quaint house, and a little chapel at the end of the garden that adds to the peaceful charm of the place. It’s a wonderfully family-friendly spot and was absolutely perfect for the five of us. We felt completely at home and would highly recommend Annio Studios to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautifully curated stay by the sea.

Very disappointed that we didn’t get the room we booked on the upper floor with a hot tub.

The location is good and close to restaurants and the beach but it is a little hard to access with luggage due to the road condition (gravel/sand)

We did not get the room we booked. We stayed in the property for 2 nights and they put us in 2 different rooms each night because there was an “accident” with the room we booked and they had to keep it for someone else… The room they put us in the second night was claimed to be “nicer” but the hot tub didn’t work so it was disappointing all around. I would have preferred a refund to stay in the less nice room they put us in and actually been able to unpack a little, rather than having to move to another room that still wasn’t what we booked.

Decent but too small for us.

The location

The room was extremely small, the bathroom small and for the room we rented, the pictures didn’t look like our room. The rooms are very close and on your back patio you can see several others.

A beautiful, relaxing hotel

The host met us at the hotel property to show us the keys and room. This seems to be a family-run establishment. It is located in a fabulous location a couple minutes walk from the beach. The property itself is beautifully landscaped with flowers and flowering bushes everywhere. There wasn't a view of the beach from our room as our suite was on the ground floor. We had a family suite with accommodated us 5 wonderfully. The shower/toilet room was a bit small but it didn't bother us. The sink is in the main section of the suite. It is an open area with a kitchen. We had a full size refrigerator with a freezer for our own use. Since there are only windows on one side of the suite there was lighting everywhere to make the rooms bright and cheery. We had an outdoor patio with a dip pool for our private use. Since we were there in Naxos at the beginning of the peak season not a lot of restaurants were open. But there was one just down the road, about a 10 minute walk that was great. Also, they have a laundry service at the property which we utilized.

A shorter espresso cup that fit under the espresso machine would have been nice. The mugs were too tall so I had to use a bowl. Also, a couple of oven mitts would have been helpful as we did a lot of cooking during our stay.

Location was excellent and the grounds were beautiful. The apartment was nicely decorated and was perfect for us.

We could have used some toiletries in the shower/bathroom - which were indicated as part of the apartment when booked.

This location was extremely comfortable, well located within a short walk to the beach and restaurants. The hosts were warm and welcoming. The grounds around the property were beautiful with well tended gardens all around. We would welcome the opportunity to visit this property again on a future stay in Naxos.

Beautiful luxurious cycladic style desing

Beautiful cycladic style design, great location close to one of the best beaches in Naxos and lovely staff. The suites are very luxurious and great for a romantic stay or to spend time with friends :) Bars and restaurants very close by. Will come back!

Sunsets are better than sunrises!!!

The location is what sold me on this place. you can walk to any beach on or near Plaka . There is everything from family friendly to nude beaches in either direction from the hotel. A supermarket was close to get get any items you may have forgotten or needed. There is no room service or food service at the hotel so it was nice to have this close by. Many good restaurants near by as well. I would highly recommend Petrino, really good and close to hotel. The one thing the hotel couldn't give me but gave me was one of the most beautiful sunsets steps away. Every night had a more impressive one. Money couldn't buy the views I saw. Happy we got to see this first hand.

The transfer to and from the seaport could have been a little better. We were picked up by hotel Staff in his personal car with his groceries and some belongings throughout the backseat. It was a good ride other than that small detail. We paid him directly in Euros where other hotels had services set up and fees incorporated in pricing.

Perfect stay, wish I could have stayed longer

I was very fortunate to have experienced 3 different rooms at Annio Studios, because I had decided to extend my stay. Marko accommodated me perfectly. I was also lucky enough to be put into one of their suites, which was stunning. It was decorated to a high standard with some lovely details. It had a fully fitted kitchen, massive bed, a plunge pool, sunbathing area, rain shower - there was nothing that I didn't like, absolutely loved it. I was also put into a standard double, which had a view of the sea in the distance and a comfortable bed. The other room I experienced was with a jacuzzi and a sunbathing terrace. I have to say all the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. So many beds in Greece are awful, these were perfect. In addition, the jacuzzi and the private pool were clean and also didn't smell of chlorine. I have stayed in some really expensive places with private pools and jacuzzis, and they have been disgusting, with dirt on the bottom and all around. These weren't dirty at all, lovely and clean to use, perfect temperature. The area is behind the best beaches in Naxos and you can walk there in 1 minute. The wifi also worked everywhere, which I really appreciated. The garden has some pretty roses and a beautiful shady pagoda, which I was lucky enough to work under. Speaking of which, due to the reason that I wanted to stay longer, I needed some help from the owner to make that happen. He sorted me out with what I needed and I was able to extend my stay. There are a few bars/cafe/restaurants along the beach front just where the property is, so you can pick up morning coffee and food, with dietary options available. You can also pick up dinner without having to go into Chora and as a woman travelling alone, I felt quite safe. To get to the property, you have to walk up a pathway off the beach, which makes it quiet. The bus for Chora drops and picks you up just by that pathway. Top marks all round.

Great stay in wonderful accomodation on an amazing island.

Very clean with friendly staff and very close to the beach. The plunge pool was very useful during the heat of the day.

Cute, and perfect !

The location was amazing! Best location in my opinion in Naxos. In a more quiet area and by nice restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very cozy. I would definitely stay here again. The small tub was amazing and pretty clean. The air was fresh in the apartment and the kitchen was perfect to cook small meals and to store your food. Additionally the bus stop is right next to the place.

Would be nice if breakfast was included. Additionally the rooms are a bit tight with not much space to store your luggage. Other than that it was perfect! I was told there was no bus to the location of the apartment from the airport, but there is. The taxi's are a bit expensive. I recommend taking the bus as much as possible.

Incredible stay in beautiful apartment.

We loved our stay at Annio Studios. The apartment was beautifully decorated and our private pool was lovely. There was also a small childrens play area, which our toddler loved. The staff were very friendly and it was a very short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location

The location was fantastic. A lovely beach a short distance away, good bars and restaurants and the bus stop at the end of the street. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The gardens are immaculate and very well kept. We paid a good price so overall good value for money.

There was a constant noise from the pool pumping equipment which was situated close to our room. Even with the doors closed you could still hear it. The cupboard where the sink and fridge were was water damaged inside and the fridge was noisy. The room was a deluxe triple room which, although ok for 2 people, would have been very cozy for 3

A lovely place that is a short walk to the beach and restaurants

It was very close to the beach and many restaurants. The grounds were beautiful. Our accommodations had a circular pool, not a hot tub but water to wade in or have a drink and read a book. It was very nice and relaxing but cold as we were there when it wasn't especially hot. You could fit 2-3 people in there comfortably. It is an open concept sleeping area so we had a bed for myself and husband and there was a seating area where you could watch tv that turned into bed for our kids. There was a kitchen area but it wasn't especially big but it had a small fridge and a cooking area, a toaster, plates, utensils etc. The bathroom was nice and spacious. Our towels got replaced daily and they brought more shampoo and conditioner if we were low. There were beach towels but you needed to ask for them. They had a drying rack outside to dry your wet stuff.

It was very humid in the room and the air conditioning wasn't working very well so our clothes were damn and the bed was damp as well. It made for an uncomfortable sleep. There isn't a lot of storage aside from a rod to hang some items. I can see they are renovating most of the rooms around us (even the pools are bigger and new) and they look really nice inside so I think we just got an older room. The place was still lovely and the grounds were beautiful.

Excellent location close to all the popular restaurants and beaches, rooms were very clean and cleaned daily. Wifi was decent, not super fast but it works!

We didn't have hot water in the mornings, only from midday onwards. Kitchen missed a kettle.

A peaceful oasis in Plaka

Staying at Annio boutique studios elevated our stay in Plaka. The grounds are so quiet and peaceful, with the beach front being only a 2-minute walk away. Markos and his aunt went above and beyond for us. We tried three different room types, all excellent, well kept and functional. Our favourite was the Superior Triple - coming back to it after a long day felt like home away from home. The facilities are cleaned every day. Also, I'd love to know the brand and model of the mattresses you use, as I had the best sleep of my life! We will definitely be back as soon as possible. Thank you for everything! I'm attaching photos of the Superior Triple.

At times there was miscommunication, but all issues were resolved quickly. Also, while the ground floor suite was very stylish, I think the bathroom could have done with more practical thinking - for example, by adding a door between the bedroom and the sink area. However that's a small fault and did not affect our experience. The WiFi was a bit slow, so be prepared to use your mobile data if you need to work (there is good 4g signal).

This place is adorable, nice garden, very private apartments with pool or jacuzzi. Location is excellent, 2 min walking distance next to the Plaka beach.

We lived in apartment in the basement, so it felt a little bit damp in the room, also in bed. And there was poor signal of mobile internet, which we needed, because of work, but still this place is veey cute and we would recommend it!

A lovely, well-kept, family-run boutique hotel just steps from the best beach in Naxos.

Loved walking through the gardens on the ground every morning and the short walk to the beach and beach restaurants. Markos kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the port and his cousin Manos would bring espresso to my room in the morning! Simple luxuries. :) The room was cleaned every day, which was appreciated. It was a small boutique family-run hotel which I loved! Markos said they add rooms and improve the property a little bit each year. Love supporting a family business and my room was still very budget-friendly. I stayed a week and loved it!

No breakfast is available - but this is really no big deal because there are so many beach restaurants to explore during your stay. Maybe there will be breakfast available later because it looks like there is an area with table and chairs that would be open for breakfast.
