Central hotel wit

The location, the easy check in, clean and good room, good breakfast. This is a bike and hotel, which sounds great.

The hitel supports the freeSaarfunk wifi connection which is great if it worked but I was unable to connect to the wifi most of the time, which is a problem if you count on wifi connection to plan your next hiking days.

Perfect for an overnight stay when travelling to Austria

charming owners. The family room had all the comfort we needed for an overnight stay on our way to the Austrian mountains. Lovely restaurant as well. parking next to the hotel.

A small family run pension, just off autobahn en-route for Austria offering great value.

Perfect. Lovely position next to Villeroy & Boche factory shop, and near a stunning forrest viewpoint of the R. Saar. Cosy resto full of locals. Free parking.

A good hotel with a super restaurant, in a wonderful location.

A warm greeting from the hostess. Nice, comfortable room (single). The restaurant was absolutely excellent; best German meal ever! Not much to do around town but the riverside location is super! Good WiFi. 4G data service was spotty. All in all, a very nice stay. Recommend.

The owner and her son were really friendly and helpful, we liked their approach a lot! Rooms were clean and the food was fine!

We understood, that after covid no hotels have extra money, but it will be nice to think about some reconstuction to be more in a line with 2022.

The staff are wonderful. Great breakfast Maria! Room, the bathroom wonderful. We had lunch when we arrived and we highly recommend! If you are cycling they have a secure place for bicycles. Everyone was so accommodating.

Nice stay at a reasonable price in Mettlach

The staff was very kind, at check-in, breakfast and dinner. It is a simple place but in a good location for the cycling trip I was planning.

It was very hot during the days I stayed there and unfortunately the two ventilators that were added to the room situated under the roof did not manage to bring the temperature down.

Just excellent!

For a stopover it was brilliant for us and we will keep it on record and hopefully use it many times in the future when we travel to and fro southern Germany and Austria on holiday!

Nous avions demandé qu'au moins une des deux chambres soit situées au rez-de-chaussée ou au 1er étage. Il avait été répondu favorablement à notre demande. Mais finalement, les deux chambres se trouvaient au deuxième étage. Pas facile donc pour une personne à mobilité réduite de monter quatre volées d'escalier dans de telles conditions.

Comfortabele kamer met uitstekend bed en prima badkamer.

De ontvangst aan de receptie was koeltjes, ik vind hey ook vervelend dat je onmiddellijk moet betalen voor je kamer. Snap het wel, dat vergemakkelijkt de checkout. Het hotel heeft kamers zicht op het of op de parking.

Schönes Hotel in Toplage

Das Hotel liegt super zentral im Zentrum bzw. der Einkaufspassage von Mettlach. Von hier aus kann man das Naherholungsgebiet genießen und z.B. eine Wanderung starten. Parkmöglichkeiten gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe zu genüge, diese sind zwar kostenpflichtig, die Preise allerdings sehr günstig! Das Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut, wir können dieses Hotel gerne weiterempfehlen und kommen wieder!

Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Einziges Manko: unser Zimmer befand sich ganz oben und es gibt keinen Aufzug. Für uns kein Problem - für ältere Personen sollte dieser Umstand aber Beachtung finden.

Prima hotel met goede service

De service, vooraf duidelijke communicatie over de sleutel. We hadden 2 aparte kamers geboekt en zijn door de eigenaar naast elkaar ingedeeld. Goed ontbijt en vriendelijke eigenaar.

Hotel is wat gedateerd en op onze kamer een lage balk waar wij (1,80 meter lang) voor moesten bukken.

Check-in war trotz Abwesenheit von Personal gut organisiert, Zimmer unter dem Dach ok. Frühstück kleines Bufett, passte.

Traurig, dass das Restaurant nicht mehr betrieben wird, insgesamt wirkte der Ort etwas verlassen.
