Marvellous midterm

The hotel and facilities are impeccably maintained, it is so clean everywhere you go and they work hard every day to keep it like that. Every staff member is so friendly and extremely helpful. It caters so well for families with children.

There is nothing you would point to, the wait for the lifts at peak times is a bit annoying but there isn’t much they can do about that.

Great hotel, really lovely staff.

Our room was great - a 3 bedroom suite. It was enormous and had wonderful views over the beach, pool and across to the Dubai Eye. It was lovely watching the light shows on the Dubai eye in the evening. We stayed half board and our meals were good. Breakfast was a lovely buffet - had everything you could have wanted. Evening meal was served in the gastro restaurant and was a 3 course meal. Our children are teenagers and had been booked as kids - worth noting that they could only order from the kids menu. However, turned out this wasn't a problem as portions were still of a good size and no-one went hungry! Great location - close to the beach and entertainment area around the Dubai eye, but also close to the marina area.

It wasn't clear from the booking that the kids could only order from the kids menu. However, this was made clear at check-in. It turns out this wasn't a problem anyway but could have been if portion sizes were like UK portions where kids menus are designed for under 12s.

The apartment was amazing! Huge and had everything we could have wanted!

The beds were very uncomfortable and hurt my back and the face that the pool area was shaded all day but I understand that’s not your fault. Giant hotel next door! Breakfast wasn’t great, not that many choices for British, same option everyday, no hash browns, no Apple juice, just a little bland. The lifts 😵

Hidden gem of JBR

Our stay at this hotel was exceptional! First of all I want to thank to Miriam from the reception, who really helped us with our stay! The room was perfect, huge and has everything we needed during our stay. Hotel facilities were also perfect and the sunbeds comfortable. What exceeded our expectations was the breakfast which had a large selection of food and was tasty.

Only downside is that in the morning guests rush to the pool area to reserve a sunbed with towels which strongly downgrades the hotel standard. I would establish the eg. 20 minutes rule and if the sunbed is reserved but not occupied for some time, the pool staff would simply collect the towels and made it available to other guests (just like in other hotels in Dubai like Address etc.)

We had a great stay! The room was very clean with a fantastic view. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything we needed was provided. The location was nice and convenient, with a Carrefour market just nearby. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

The beach itself is good, but unfortunately, the sea is not as clean as it used to be. In the water, there is often some floating trash and seaweed. Right next to the guests’ swimming area there is now a water scooter rental zone. The number of jet skis at JBR has become very high, and they give off a smell of gasoline and create strong waves, which makes swimming less comfortable.

Wonderful stay with excellent staff and great hospitality — highly recommended!

The staff were amazing — Yuli from the restaurant was very attentive and helpful, Yasser (now operator) and Martin were excellent, and the reception and room service teams were always professional. Housekeeping kept our room spotless, and I also appreciated how the chef personally checked the dishes to make sure everything was perfect.

We shocked since arrived till check out Waiting more than 2 hours when arrived at lobby AC and cooling was not working at all specailly 2nd bedrooms(2 single beds) All days at breakfast we were waiting about 20 to 30 mins availability

There are better hotels in JBR.

Bed was comfortable and hotel lobby was clean and inviting. Was handy having a kitchen particularly as we did not have breakfast included.

Very outdated decor which suggests pictures online need updating. Toilet seat had stains on it and bathroom bidet did not work. Reception staff were not helpful in the slightest and claimed they didn’t know how we could purchase tickets to the Burj Khalifah. Would never return here.

The hotel location is good, the view is wonderful, it is close to restaurants, cafes and night walks. The reception was wonderful from the reception staff. The rooms are very spacious.

There is a note I hope to look into, which is the bedroom in the morning, the sunlight is annoying with the curtains as if I was sleeping on the balcony - and there is a lack of cooperation with the guest if his plane is late and he is asked to go out or pay the price of an additional night, he is only given an hour - the room refrigerator is very bad - and the towel is worn out, and I also hope to pay attention to the TV channels and the variety of channels, and there is another matter, it is true that the location of the hotel is distinctive, but it is very far from shopping areas

The rooms were comfortable. The view of the beach and the wheel from the balcony was amazing. The service was good. We had a nice taxi driver that took us to mosk on Friday for Jummuah and also to the airport on checkout . The concierge was helpful and took our bags from the room to the taxi . All staff members were so friendly.Everyone in the hotel had good soft skills. I also enjoyed the pool and the loungers to sit with the umbrella. I was happy we got free big towels to take for swimming.
