A diamond, a true diamond in the heart of Dubrovnik!

This was a hidden gem ! Right overlooking the beautiful ocean, you can see cruise ships and sit out on the terrace in the fun chairs hanging. The beautiful atmosphere clean, beautiful comfortable rooms were so fun and relaxing! The staff were impeccable. They greeted me when I arrived helped move parking and showed me everything.

Nothing, it was one of the best kept secrets. I never stayed in such a wonderful place and the cost was very low.

Nice and cheap for a stay in Dubrovnik

The room was big and had a private bathroom. It was overall clean but it could be improved. The lady who managed it was very nice and helpful all the time. It is far from the old town but you can catch a bus (line 6) that doesn't take long to arrive there. The bus stop is 10 mins away from the property.

Although it was overall clean I found a few hairs in the area of the bed (specially the headboard) and rests of food in the table and window bench.

Nice location but below average stay

Nice owner, who checked in a lot. Drove us to the terminal, which was very kind. Lokation is very cozy and close to beautiful beaches.

We got another room than the one we ordered, which I think is quite annoying. We didn’t realise first, because we are one a longer travel, and book many rooms, and were really tired when we arrived. After the first night we didn’t want to say anything, since we only booked 2 nights. The room smelled weird and humid. Clearly not good enough ventilation - since also shows in the mole stains in the bathroom. A bit weird decorated room, and not a lot of space to put your things in the bathroom. The shared kitchen is very small, basically outside, and not too clean. I think most was under average and I am happy we didn’t book several nights.

It was great overall!

I liked the location of the property, near 3 beaches and overlooking the bridge and the mountains of Dubrovnik. The hospitality was great, the host offered to drive us to the old town and gave us insight into the city and activities we could do.

Great play to stay for Dubrovnik, but next time I would get a room with bathroom inside the room.

Outside the property, there is a view of the water. The room/bed was very comfortable. The owner was very nice and made provision for my car.

I think I knew ahead of time that the bathroom is private, but outside the room. I didn’t know there was no sink. I booked this room because Dubrovnik is so expensive and all I needed was a quick overnight stay.

It was nice to be in Dubrovnik and nice to stay there but it seemed overpriced for the conditions.

It was clean. The owner gave us a tour of Dubrovnik which was unexpected but helpful.

They didn’t provide soap for showering. I didn’t understand that but the owner said it was supposed to be implied. There are washing machines there but not for you, just for the staff to wash the bed linen and towels.

Nice place nice view peaceful place When you search the place I suggest you search “BOKELJSKA 11” instead “Komolačka ul. 4” because the place is the opposite of “BOKELJSKA 11” and you don’t have to carry the bag back to go up the stair

The parking is very very difficult on street. It took us 45 minutes to find a parking slot. The owner usually helps but we were not lucky to find. So we were ourownself.

Loved the location and the view!

Loved the location and the view! Close to the water and a great walking path. The host was welcoming and even reserved a parking spot for us, which was so thoughtful. He took the time to show us a map with lots of great suggestions for things to do and see in Dubrovnik – it really helped us make the most of our stay!

The apartment door didn’t close on its own, so we had to lock it with the key each time.

Satisfactory one night stay

I stayed here following a late flight and liked the location for its closeness to visiting the old town. Room was compact but fine for 1 night stay. Comfortable bed and good wifi. There is also a washing machine in the shared entrance. Kettle in room along with cups and glasses. Beautiful views overlooking the sea and Dubrovnik brige from a shared terrace. Free on street parking and I was able to leave hire car there when I visited the old town the next morning. It is a tight busy street so finding a space may be difficult. When travelling to the old town the following morning, I found the number 6 bus stop but after 20 minutes it did not arrive so I gave up and got an Uber for 7€. Got the number 6 bus back but it must have been diverted as it started going back towards the old town. Whilst waiting for another bus I checked google maps and realised I was 8 minutes walk back so walked the rest. I would say to have walked there and back would have taken around 20 minutes each way. My advice go early. I got there around 8.45 and managed to do the walls within just over an hour and when leaving at 1000, coach loads of people were arriving and buses were packed to capacity.

The property was difficult to find at night. It is down an alleyway of steps leading to the sea. It is not labelled guest house cuk but apartment salon. Some better signage may be helpful. Whilst the room is compact, this could be improved by removing some excess items such a table and chairs and a dressing table. The bathroom is extremely small, it is very difficult to use the sink without fully closing the door, which is difficult to close. The shower could do with updating. Positioning of the shower head to avoid pointing it at the shower curtain and soaking the floor was a challenge. That said, I would stay here again for one night.

Nice neighbourhood, with market nearby. Nice terrace to enjoy coffe with a good view. Cute and clean apartment.

TV was not working, and the WiFi signal was not that good. Room was a bit small and the window opens straight into the shared kitchen outside which makes it impossible to use it when the kitchen is being used.

The Host is really kind. He gave us a quick information about city, transport and other facilities. Also, as he knew that we were traveling with small baby, he changed an apartment with direct access from road (without stairs), so that we could manage with our luggage and stroller easier 👍🏻

Superb

Nice location in the quiet area just in front of promenade along sea coast, 5 min walk from excellent beaches. Room was comfortable with the terrasse overlooking the sea. Fridge, kitchen, Micro oven and cutlery available. Supermarket 2 min walk. Bus to the center 15 min walk. Very good stay for such money in Dubrovnik.

After rain there was smell of humidity in the bathroom. Small renovation needed.

The room didn't had attached Toilet-Bathroom. in addition, wash basin wasn't there. it is considered as basic amenities, how can you not have that?

Bad experience

I had a bad experience in this hotel. As I booked a single room with a private bathroom for two nights, and upon receiving the room, I found that the bathroom was private but outside the room ( external Bathroom) . I informed the man that this room did not match my reservation and he insisted that this is the single room and i have to revert back to the agency which i had been booked through it .he also said in a rude way that with the money i paid in that room i can't even have a tent in Dubrovnik ( which is not accepted and not expected from hotel stuff ) . I contacted Booking and explained the situation to them and they contacted the hotel's agency then changed the room the next day . the man expressed his displeasure and blame me because i complained !!! he spoiled my stay. my special thanks goes to booking.com customer service for their quick support and action.

Nice and pocket friendly

Great place to stay if you're alone or 2 people, and aren't too keen km sharing space in like a hostel. The rates are almost same. The host is very helpful. Gave me all tips and directions around the city.

I did book the cheapest room and I am very aware what I should get in Dubrovnik for that. The room was clean, normal size, it was very good value for the money I paid in Dubrovnik in the high season. I would come back anytime. Slavko and family were very helpful and nice.

Exceptional

Slavko has a host was brilliant. He was awake for me until midnight since my flight was delayed(eventually flight got diverted to Zagreb !!!). But when i finally reached Dubrovnik, Slavko made sure i had everything and after a dreadful start to my holiday (delay+diversion), I was made to feel really welcome at his place. Even the other guests were friendly . I am definitely going to stay there again on my next trip.

Everything was perfect apart from the weather....it was too ....hot 😥
