Nice hotel with lovely view

The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy and had a lovely view. The showers worked very well, there was always ample hot water. The kitchen was very well equipped. It was very close to the pool too. The walk into the main area for sightseeing and restaurants took less than 10 minutes. The tram station was near too. It was great to have a big Spar shop only a few minutes walk away for our shopping as well.

Check in wasn't great, on arrival we felt as though we were disturbing the girl behind reception, she was on her mobile at the time. She gave us our key and showed us how to enter the building and room, pointed to where the pool was and that was it. There is no information at all in the room on practical things like their restaurant opening times, how to use the safe, WiFi code, things to see and do in the area etc. The only thing in the room was a list of TV channels but they didn't correspond with the TV? We went back to reception after unpacking to ask about the WiFi and was told it was displayed on the reception desk. I think the WiFi password should be displayed somewhere in the room or the receptionist should tell guests on arrival.

View from room was lovely, bed very comfortable, amenities were great

No instructions to use anything in the room. Initially problems with WiFi but was sorted after 24 hours. Hob on the cooker did not work, staff sent a single induction hob to plug in but didn't make attempts to fix the cooker.

Beautiful Seaviews

Beautiful views of the sea, sunset, and sound of the ocean. A lot of space, comfy beds, clean, smells lovely. Loved that we had a balcony overlooking the sea. Walking distance to the local shops, restaurants, and the beach.

The gym was open for guests to use with staff coming in and out(no sign to say not in service) only a few exercise equipment to use as there were electrical wires hanging over other equipments from the ceiling, with water also dripping from the ceiling. It's a shame we weren't told before that the gym was not in full service because my son was looking forward to using the gym. The pool was lovely.

Really reasonable apartment in Vallajoysa, close to the beach with good facilities!

There is a hotel reception next door to the apartments where we met a hotel staff member to give us our keys. The room wasn't ready when we arrived but we were permitted access to use the pool area which was very nice. This was the same for check out that we were permitted access to the pool facilities until we left for our flight that evening which saved us a lot of effort with bringing bags out for the day. The apartment itself was well serviced with cooking utensils and washing machine. It was a lovely space with the balcony overlooking the pool and sea. Having Netflix in the apartment was a nice addition as well!

There were a lot of ants in the apartment so we found ourselves flicking ants off the bed quite a lot! Very unpleasant.

Not at all satisfactory.

Steer clear of this place! In recent years we have stayed in dozens of places in Spain, Greece and Portugal. We have always booked via Booking.com and have almost always been satisfied. This was not the case this time. The problems started with the air conditioning not working in the apartment upon arrival. It was eventually fixed later that evening. Day two was to be much worse. When we got home in the evening there was no water in the apartment. It was not possible to use the toilet, not the shower, not to brush our teeth. We tried to contact the reception, but it was closed. The next morning the water was still gone. At 8:00 a.m. someone finally came to the reception. She "thought" that the water would be back soon, but was not sure. At 11:00 we checked out. Still without water. What disappoints me most about this: 1) No information was given either before or during the stay 2) It was impossible to get in touch either at the reception or via the telephone number provided 3) No apology afterwards. All in all this was a very disappointing experience. so my recommendation is to stay away from this place. The apartments are also generally very worn out, and not what they look like in the pictures.

Calling apartments luxury does not make the luxury!!!!!!!!

The views are amazing, far enough from town to be quiet but close enough to stroll into town in 10 minutes... Was perfect vantage point for the fireworks display for the Moors and Christians festival which was one of the reasons we booked here specifically....

Right here's the long list of things that l didn't like. 1/ Despite having booked a year ago the ownership changed hands a month before we travelled and the definition of the apartments to "adults only" we had booked with a teenager 13 and a child 8.. We were informed we were being moved to an upstairs apartment and even though l emailed l received no answer from the apartments, so escalated it to Booking who were little use to be honest and just said contact the apartments directly (which l already had) Arriving on the day we actually got the room we booked so all the stress and anguish caused in the prior month was for nothing 🤔🤔🤔😔😔😔😔 2/ Having stayed here 3 previous times in the last 10 years we were really disappointed with the whole place now, everything is run down and tired. The price has gone up from €170 per night in 2015 to €390 per night now... Inflation is understandable but not over double the price 🤔🤔🤔🤔 The apartments are in serious need of redecorating and new furniture as they have the same settee and tables as we're in on our first visit in 2015 when the place was new.. And an air conditioner that was on or off l woke several times freezing cold in my room ( had to put a blanket on July!!!) or sweltering if it was turned off!!!!! Control units in the bedrooms didn't work and one was hanging off with exposed wiring... To change the name to luxury is in my opinion misleading and dishonest because these are now anything but that....... 3/ The outside terrace is in a shocking state from the damaged, cracked and stained outdoor furniture (again the same as were there in 2015) to the rusty gazebo with stained screens.. Disgusting shower area with missing tiles and rusty exposed control box... The pool was a disgrace with a highly visible scum/grease line at surface level despite a pool guy coming in and carrying out water tests every day!!!!!!???????

The view was amazing and location perfect

Wasn’t told it was on a big anniversary moors and Christian event all night bangs and fireworks for most of our stay cannon balls blasts all through the night !! No sleep at all awful Also says adults only !!!Lots of noisy kids, babies in two rooms and dogs barking downstairs because of the fireworks and cannons , it was so bad it was laughable ! You can’t say adult only 🤣 Scum line around the pool thick and greasy .

lovey break away

We had 2 appartments booked and we arrived a little earlier than expected. And although the rooms were not ready they let us put out cases in one of apartment wardrobes, so we could go and park the car. they were so friendly.

It is worth for the view but don't count with WiFi

The apartment had an amazing view to the ocean, the kitchen had good appliances, and it was easy to park around there for free.

The wifi was very bad, although we told the reception staff we were having problems, nothing was done to improve. The kitchen lacked basic utensils such as good knives, spatulas, bowls for eating, more frying pans and pots. Very limited hot water tank, after one person's shower it wouldn't have enough for another person half shower.

Wonderful stay

We stayed with my mum, my teenage daughters & a friend in July for 5 days. The staff was so friendly, especially Tomy! The apartment was spacious and well equipped overlooking the sea & pool. It felt like a home away from home. Vilajoyosa is beautiful town and the sea very clean. The apartment is well located. Supermarket & shops close by, short walk to the town center and beach. Thank you for a great vacation.

The apartment was incredible. It had everything. Very modern, amazing views and the location was perfect. This was easily the best apartment we have ever stayed in. It was that good!

Superb

We were here in wintee so not very busy. In the one bdm apartment beautiful views and sunrise from all rooms and balcony. Modern, good size, full kitchen, clean and well equipped. Elevator, pool. Use of rooftop deck in adjacent hotel. All windows have electric shutters for a nice sleep in, if desired. Comfortable mattress. Easy parking (winter time so not busy). Lovely staff. La Villajoyosa is such a cute and colourful town. Fantastic NYE celebration too.

There is construction nearby unrelated to the hotel but creates some noise - not too much. To be picky, the double bed is two singles, which is common but they do move apart from each other fairly easily. The shower head is positioned a little strange. But, really, everything was perfect. We loved it here.

Fantastic holiday in a great apartment in a lovely town.

Clean and comfortable apartment all on one level with outside seating area and direct access to pool area. The bedrooms are nice, one is en-suite and the other bathroom is directly opposite the second bedroom. There is a large sitting/dining room with a put-you-up bed, plenty large enough for 2 children. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The staff are very friendly and we were looked after very well by Senora Perez on both our stays here. There is also the bonus of using the facilities of the adjoining hotel, including indoor and outdoor pools and dining. Also, sheets and towels are replaced every four days along with a clean through.!
