The Most Horrible & Stressful Begining Ever For Us

Never got to use it do to terrible service rude staff and unlawful procedures. Thank goodness we booked through Booking!

They requested sensitive information regarding my families identities. Went on to lie that it was required by law. We ended up calling the local police department who advised not to share this information under any circumstances. We went back and forth with booking because they just kept sending the same message over and over to send the info if we wanted to check in that it was mandatory by law. After requesting various times the establishment provide an alternative to check in booking finally agreed to relocate us. The next day they proceeded to charge us when they had ignored booking all day only chatting with us sending a spiteful message about how this was somehow our fault. Had we booked directly with them there would have been very little choice but to submit to their demands. Food for thought an establishment in Spain can only ask certain details about your identity using online interface. In summary we are still waiting for our refund and thanks to Booking.com the amazing team got us out of the clutches of these unprofessional bullies. Travelling with my wife and 2 children this was a nightmare. Don’t stay here terrible experience never even made it and destroyed our first two days of the trip!

Fun spot near the beach! Good for people who need a place to stay with essentials

Great host. Great location. Very responsive and good facilities. Nice list of recommendations given and wifi was fast. Nice little kitchen and waiting area.

Kitchen was a bit bare. Some drain issues during our stay with the shower. Not a ton of natural light in our particular suite unless wanted to be seen from outside.

Beautiful, renewed, very cosy apartment in the old town, just few steps from the beach. The roof top terrace is an ideal place for dinners at home. Isabel was a fantastic and very kind host, she helped us in every question, and we got delicious croissants, and a bottle of fantastic red wine as a welcome present. Villajoyosa is a beautiful fishing village with a sandy , not too crowded beach, a nice promenade , and good restaurants. This place is ideal for couples, who would like to relax in a romantic, not too busy ( not like Benidorm!!!) , charming place.

I like this place so much

Everything was good for rest, living and cooking. The location was very good. The restaurants and beach are near the apartments. The design of the room is super nice and room has all equipment what you need to stay.

During the staying we have noticed, that locals go to the beach with chairs and umbrellas. It could be a good option to provide them for free or for rent. Good option, but not necessarily

Prachtig appartement met uitdagingen

Prachtig 'huis', appartement Mooi ingericht. Eigen terras.

Was moeilijk om het binnen klimaat comfortabel te maken (Denk dat dit met seizoen te maken gehad kan hebben) De openheid / ruimtelijkheid van de accomodatie had hierdoor meer een nadeel dan voordeel.

El apartamento en general es súper bonito y cómodo. La cama muy cómoda. Tenía todo lo necesario para pasar la estancia agradable. El suelo del baño se calentaba por lo que al salir d ella ducha no pasabas frío.

El váter tenía alguna mancha pero nada grave. La luz del baño es muy tenue, para las que nos maquillamos hay que forzar la vista para verte bien.

No había wifi y el servicio de atención al cliente es una inteligencia artificial que no sabe la respuesta a la mayoría de las preguntas básicas. El baño tiene una pared de cristal y la ducha y el váter también, muy poca privacidad para un viaje en familia.

La cercanía a la playa , puedes ir andando, dos minutos. El apartamento estaba limpio, nos dejaron una botella de agua y unas chocolatinas y nos avisaron de que estaba listo antes de la hora de entrada que son las 15 horas.

No hay wifi aunque si que tiene Netflix y aunque te pasas el día en la playa por la noche vino bien para el peque. La dificultad de aparcar, no hay sitio aunque hay un parking cerca de pago.

Grote teleurstelling – niet boeken met gezin

Locatie

Dit appartement is absoluut niet geschikt voor een verblijf met een gezin met tieners. Mijn zoon van 1m80 kon onmogelijk slapen op de voorziene slaapbank: zijn voeten staken zeker 20 cm uit. Daarnaast is er in de badkamer een glazen deur waardoor je totaal geen privacy hebt, noch tijdens het douchen, noch bij het toiletgebruik. Tot overmaat van ramp troffen we een mierennest in de badkamer aan en bleef het toilet na doorspoelen voortdurend lopen. Zeer teleurstellende ervaring.
