The location is excellent. Comfortable walking distance to major areas such as the Colosseum, as well as to restaurants and Roma Termini. The staff was very kind. The included breakfast was simple but delicious (especially the fresh pastries delivered every morning). Check in and out was smooth. The room was comfortable and spacious (we had the larger family unit).

The shower was very small and had some issues. There are stairs to get to the level, which is a consideration for guests that have mobility issues.

A somewhat disappointing experience regarding this accommodation. Check-in was self-service, very easy to do, and the location was easy to find. However, as soon as we entered the stairwell, there was a slightly stale smell, and the odor was even stronger in the room — it constantly smelled very bad, like a garbage chute. The room doesn't really compare to what you see in the photos. In the pictures, everything looks very clean and renovated; in reality, it's not like that — there are many marks on the walls, some areas are peeling, the shower door is coming off, you have to struggle a lot to press the toilet flush for it to work, and to top it all off, we left there with some very small red ants that stung very badly — ants that I had seen on the bathroom floor but didn't think they could be so harmful. The bathroom window doesn't open at all, and the room window faces something between the buildings — air conditioning units, garbage chute — I'm not sure — anyway, it has no kind of view as advertised and as I understood from the hotel description. Breakfast is right next to the reception, but it's also self-service — you boil your own eggs, make your own coffee — that wouldn't be a problem at all. The only issue — for my husband at least — was that breakfast (aside from eggs) had nothing savory, no type of meat, cheese, or vegetables. The only plus of the room would be that it has a large bed and a bunk bed, and for a family with 2–3 children, it's very spacious and practical, but everything else overshadows the positive aspects. The street where we parked, right in front of the hotel, was a safe one — we didn't see any incidents and nothing happened to our car either — but one street over from the hotel street, we saw many cars with broken windows and cardboard in the windows (people scared and stressed about the situation).
