Relais Monti

The breakfast was a disappointment to say the least. While it did have the basics you would expect, it was so small that no more than 2 or 3 people could stand and serve themselves. We were advised that there was a wasp problem on the terrace and if this was an issue fir us we could take a tray to our room. We were a family of 7 people in 3 rooms and did not want to take a tray downstairs or take turns in an elevator that only 2 people fit to eat separately. So we sat on three terrace with wasps buzzing around us as we ate as we waved them away. I wanted a cappuccino but was informed that it wasn't working and that was the case for our entire visit. One of our party asked for any kind of lactose free milk but that wasn't available. The lady manning the breakfast area would put out few pieces of cold cuts and you had to ask her to put more out. Very disappointing as the breakfast on the terrace was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. There was no indoor space to have breakfast so if it was raining you had no choice but to eat in your room apart from other family members. The rooms were tiny, but we'll appointed. The bed was comfortable and linens fresh and clean.

Breakfast

The rooms were a decent size and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well with a remote control for easy use. The location was in walking distance to many popular locations but out of the crowd.

There isn’t a lot of staff if needed. They aren’t on site 24 hours a day. The breakfast is 15 euro each and it is not worth it at all. The rooftop patio isn’t too much to speak of so don’t let that be your deciding factor.
