Relais Monti

We chose this hotel because of the location and it really is a ten minute walk from the train station (although the last bit is cobbles so the suitcases acquire a mind of their own) and a ten minute walk to the Colleseum. It is in a nice area with plenty of restaurants, supermarkets etc. The room was comfortable and the shower was great. Everything you would want was there. We sat on the rooftop for breakfast whish was lovely. There was a good choice of food but it is the same every day so if your staying long it might seem repetitive. Rome was easier to walk around than it looked on the map so this hotel was a great choice as a base to work from. We loved our stay at the Relais Monti.

The room was very clean when we arrived. The staff was very attentive. The balcony was a great spot to relax at the end of a busy tourist agenda. The best part, the location. Rione Monti is the perfect spot for a relaxing rest away from the touristy hot spots, but close enough to a lot of major attractions. Via Urbana and the surrounding area has a lot of great restaurants, Don't miss out in having a meal at Pasta Urbana right across from the hotel entrance or Bar Monti for an aperitivo.

An out of the way gem near Roma Termini. Our third floor room looked out over a narrow alley and while on the smaller side, proved just fine to unwind after exploring. A welcome breakfast was offered on the top floor porch overlooking the neighborhood. The air conditioner got a workout on a couple of warm, late April days. Enjoyed our stay.

Great location! The rooms were very nice with a fabulous balcony.
