Nerva Accommodation Cavour

Excellent location in Monti, within easy walking distance of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Metro station and Roma Termini. There were plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops on the surrounding streets, and the nearby mini market was reasonably priced. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with effective air conditioning, blackout blinds and windows that blocked most of the street noise. The shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Breakfast was included and offered a good variety of items to choose from each morning. The lift worked perfectly, which was appreciated after long days exploring Rome, and both reception and our room were conveniently located on the third floor. Overall, a great base for sightseeing in Rome.

Only a few minor points. There was no fridge in the room, and although we were told we could help ourselves to the snack area and coffee machine, the communal fridge was locked outside breakfast hours, so we couldn't access milk for tea during the day. This wasn't a major issue during our two-night stay, but guests staying longer may find the lack of refrigeration inconvenient. There was also no safe in the room. Access to the property and rooms was via keypad codes rather than physical keys, which wasn't a problem, although we would hope the codes are changed regularly for security. Finally, our room was near the entrance, so there was occasionally some noise from guests coming and going.

We really liked about the Accomodation the good Location and the nice people. The breakfast and the available snacks and coffee at any time was a nice incentive. I also really liked the mattress.

When we arrived the room was not very well cleaned. On the wall of the whole bathroom was still hair from other people. I walked around and stepped into cut toe nails. Beside the bed there was this small piece of fake grass on the floor which seemed like it was never cleaned before because it was beyond dusty.

Good location, short walk from Termini Central Station. Large room with very comfortable bed. Lots of character in the rooms and bathrooms.

Small shower with a very large step down to enter or exit.

Staff was helpful. Shared kitchen provided but we didnt use it. Dont think many people will be able to use it in one go.

Bathroom too small to stand and could barely move. Only head shower, no hand shower. Quite a lot of sound from other rooms.
