Property was clean and big with plenty of space to chill and relax
Too many cats everywhere and sleeping in cushions and just annoying

Over all expectations when it comes to the facilities, food and drink. I am realistic and a bit sceptical with all inclusive, but this was really good quality. Having the different restaurants is a great addition, the Pan Asian restaurant lovely. The resort is exceptionally well kept, clean and made to fit well for both couples/adults and family’s.
The adult pool and bar was beautiful, and the staff and service all around was great. Would definitely stay at another Kanika hotel.

Wonderful, professional staff, especially Ms. Klara, who took care of the little ones. A fantastic, professional entertainment team. The hotel's nursery was included in the all-inclusive package and provided professional care for children aged 6-36 months. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, with beautiful palm trees and flowers, large swimming pools, and a good policy of allocating sunbeds. The food was delicious and varied.
I booked a hotel and received confirmation of availability for my chosen room type—a family room with a garden and courtyard view—about a month before arrival. They even charged a deposit. Then, two days before arrival, I received a call saying the room was unavailable and that they could only offer me a similar room for half my stay and a similar room for the other half, along with a symbolic discount. The rooms weren't bad, but I expect a 5-star hotel to provide the suite I requested and confirmed, and unfortunately, the one I received didn't meet my expectations. Other than that, no negatives.

Exceptional ! at this hotel you have a breakfast buffet including everything under the sun but waiter immediately comes to your table, asks if you want fresh made pancakes, omelettes or special iced tea, iced coffee latte with syrup or any other special orders. In the bars, they serve real branded international spirits and liquers, even single malt whisky (Macallan) was served. The location and the food is simply amazing. The seven Orchids restaurant is absolutely world class, but make sure and book early as it may be fully booked.
Believe it or not! Our flight was very late from Larnaca when leaving, staff says: Fine, keep your armband and use all the facilities you want bars and restaurants, you can get a room to shower and change before you leave. we have been to many all-inclusive resorts all over the world and let me tell you, Olympic lagoon is in a class of its own. a ten!
In the bars, if you like caribbean style drinks, it would be a lot better with fresh orangejuice, freshly smashed strawberrys, bananas when ordering daiquiris, margarithas and pina coladas, The pumpdispenser syrups are not up to par with the other services. Also the icecreambar is located a bit from the poolarea and does not have a lot of options.
The snackeria by the pool could have more options like crepes, ice cream, waffles. But they serve great iced lattes.
The location is not on the beach but ca 300m walk, you can reach Nissibeach in a 10min walk

Petra and roshan were great
Wish parents could stay with children at the crèche! It’s a great indoor facility for children to play in with it’s too hot outside.

Room was great and comfortable. Breakfast and food in general were great, also quality of drinks was satisfying (all inclusive). Entertainment was awesome, the crew made us really great time!
Beach is not very close. AC in the room had an issue of bad smell and noise. Kids club request us to split for 2 different ages, 2.5 and 6 years old sisters could not stay in same activity.

I can confidently say it was one of the best holiday experiences we've ever had! We've visited many all-inclusive 5-star resorts over the years, but nothing compares to the Olympic Lagoon.
From the moment we arrived, the staff and the entire team were absolutely incredible – warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to every detail. They went above and beyond to make us feel special throughout our stay.
The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of high-quality dishes that catered to every taste. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snacks in between, everything was delicious and beautifully presented. You could truly taste the care and quality in every bite.
The resort itself is immaculate, with stunning pools, beautiful grounds, and fantastic entertainment options for all ages. Whether we were relaxing by the pool, enjoying the spa, or taking part in the evening shows, there was never a dull moment.
Everything was simply perfect – from the comfort of the rooms to the outstanding service and attention to detail. We genuinely couldn't find a single fault.

pools, sunbed system, italian greek and international speciality restaurant, staff, some specific staff;), the pirate boat, amaretto sour when made properly, the junior suite for having a baby, the junior club - although we couldnt use it now it looks awesome, the pasta a la minute, milkshake and ice bar, a very professional "All Stars" animation team. Also well located, a bit off the busy noisy center, close to a nice beach, easy to reach by highway, soccer and tennis fields (although unusable in a heatwave). Availability of a free creche for 4 hours a day (although it's not easy for non-English speaking toddlers to adapt here as for example our 2y old toddler's native tongue is Dutch) Actually too much to write down here in a few sentences.
I strongly recommend the hotel, IF the price matches.
In general, this is a detailed list but nothing critical. It's first of all pricey. We noticed some bullying and “im superior” towards younger staff (only by some superiors) but the staff is mainly wow. From Yuri the luggage man to the customer service to the housekeeping staff to the bartenders to the restaurant assistants, all were really a pleasure to be served by. The mediocre dishes (taste wise) of the main restaurant, the abundance of pigeons shitting in your coffee at breakfast (no, really, it happened!) the abundance of English guests (every 3 days we witnessed loud fighting or loud partying late at night.. ) , the lack of variety at breakfast, cold dishes and in the restaurants served too quickly upon each course. The lack of a babysitting service. The lack of Dutch animation, quiz questions that only English people can understand. Evening entertainment is mostly a cover band. A bit more variety in types of show would have been nice.
A suggestion: to fix the "pigeon shit" issue, i'm sure you can find weather-resistant spikey tapes like VOSS Prickler Strips that you can tape on top of the wooden bars in the restaurant. Easier than the failing nail system and will for once and for all remove the "shitty experience" by some;)

The hotel has plenty of space, attractive designed, and rarely feels crowded. Excellent meals at the main restaurant.
We asked for two adjacent rooms and got 204 and 205 but the hotel numbering system is a bit strange and these two rooms were not adjacent.
There are plenty of sun beds but you are allocated your sun beds on arrival and can’t choose where to sit. Some other odd rules in the pool, for example any type of round ball is ok but not a foam rugby ball.

Excellent Staff and Atmosphere: The vast majority of the staff were very polite, friendly, and welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the live music, which created a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere throughout the hotel.
Great Amenities: The quality of the food, drinks, and general facilities was very good.
Spacious and Open: The hotel has a very spacious layout. We never felt crowded or confined, which was a huge plus.
Room Condition: Our room felt a bit "tired" and could use some maintenance. We noticed a broken door frame, and there were persistent smudges and streaks on the mirrors and in the bathroom that couldn't be cleaned away.
Privacy Breach: This was our biggest concern. Staff tried to enter our room without any prior warning while we were inside changing. We asked them not to enter, and they left. Afterwards, we put the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, but they ignored it and entered the room while we were away. This was a serious breach of privacy and made us feel very uncomfortable.
Frustrating Mobile App: Nearly everything is managed through the hotel's app, but it is poorly designed and not user-friendly. There was only one working method to log in, which wasn't obvious. To make matters worse, the hotel had mixed up our names, registering my wife as the primary guest. Since the primary guest's last name is part of the login credentials, we couldn't log in. The reception staff in our building couldn't help and sent us to the main building. We wasted a lot of time and, as a result, couldn't get a reservation at the restaurant we wanted.
Minor Inconvenience: A small detail, but the iron in the room didn't have a water spray function, and no separate spray bottle was provided.

Wonderful service, excellent food, and fantastic hotel facilities.
Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room did not match the hotel's overall standard. The very low level of cleanliness actually forced me to purchase cleaning supplies outside the hotel and clean the room myself daily. This is certainly not how I expect to manage my stay at a hotel of this caliber. Regrettably, this is the only factor that might prevent me from returning to stay with you.

Lots of pool space, nice garden room.
Kids club - parents can’t get in.
Pools - a little bit too cold (End of May).
Food - all inclusive, but lacking quality, specially the burger place.
Couldn’t get a place at the restaurants besides one night, and food was good! I wish I could get more restaurants nights.

The friendly staff and pools
This was my second time at this property, my last stay was in 2022 and i noticed a big difference.
1- This time it wasn’t as clean:
- the room only got tidy without it being actually cleaned.
- we ask for ice three times and got it 3 hours later.
- in our 10 day stay we saw 3 cockroaches ( one of them was on the “ captains deck “ dining table and two were next to the pool bar.
- on our first day we went to the sunbeds that were assigned to us around 11am and the ground was covered with juice and lemon slices from the night before - i kindly asked staff to send someone over to clean it up but no one came.
We came back to this resort because we loved it so much on our first visit.. but unfortunately after this visit im not sure we will be coming back

The staff is amazing! Everyone was very professional and welcoming! The food and the drinks were fantastic! The outdoor space is very quiet and picturesque.
The sunbed reservation system is awful. We got stuck in a very bad location even though there were plenty of vacant sunbeds near the pool. People reserve best sunbeds for all the stay, but they don’t really use them. It’s not fair!!!! The pool staff really tried to help us, but all the good places were “reserved “. It was a really disappointing pool experience!
Indoor pool was cold and not suitable to swim early in April

It was excellent as an all inclusive hotel
We had a room for three and our 21 year old Grandaughter as we were there for a wedding we didn’t expect a camp bed brought in and we had very little space and nowhere to hang all the clothes so she lived out of her case. Other guests with us with 3 occupancy had separate beds and lots of space

The food & selection of drinks were great. The resort was fab very clean. The entertainment was awesome especially the greatest showman.
Our room was nice but a little noisy.
There could have been a pool table & an area where you could watch international football.
The mini disco in the evening could have more dancing opportunities for the kids

Hotel is very nice, swimming pools are big, lazy river around its nice addition, food was outstanding, all the drinks and popular cocktails included, beautiful Landa beach just across the road, kids and teens club very well organised with lots to do for 12+children also. Our room location wasn't great facing back of the hotel where deliveries used to come to the kitchen so was quiet noisy.
I would highly recommend this hotel for family/friends holiday.
If its out of season pools are not heated so water is cold. Sea was warmer when the pool in April
