It was a lovely house - very quiet and peaceful. It is a bit out of town but we like that. Our room had everything we needed with a big bathroom too. Monica and Adrian were so friendly and helpful. They had recommendations of where to eat and what to do in the area. We had lots of interesting discussions about the history of Ireland. The breakfasts were just perfect!

What a fabulous place. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Monica had a full range of tea, coffee and coffee machine available throughout stay. Very quiet and great views They have tv in your room but also have a lively sitting room with a tv for more comfort that you share with the other guests Monica and Adrain great hosts and went above and beyond to ensure all your needs catered for and lots of great food. Thank you for a wonderful 2 nights stay and would definitely be back again.

Monica & Adrian went above and beyond expectation. They made you feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The house is stunning and the bedroom was beautiful with a lovely large ensuite.

Fabulous accommodation!!

Monica and Adrian were fabulous hosts and made us feel so welcome! It was like a home from home.. The cooked breakfast set us up for the day perfectly and everything in our accommodation was of a very high standard. There was ample tea/coffee on the landing next to our room and a fridge too with fresh milk. Monica was so kind to drive us into Derry when there was a mishap with a particular car park the night before. All in all, I have no hesitation in highly recommending Five Oaks!!

felt like staying with old friends

Monica was an absolute star, went out of her way to make sure we were welcome. after the first night it was like staying with someone we’ve known for years. The area is peaceful and quiet, with a great outdoors area. the room was cosy with a comfortable bed, hot powerful shower and filled with stuff you would need. highly recommend anyone to stay here. we will be back!

A delightful reprieve from the exhaustion of travel!

Monica and Adrian routinely go above and beyond, to meet every guest’s need. Monica did our laundry, free of charge, prepared a beautiful cooked breakfast every morning, and helped with whatever we needed. I noticed they afford each person equal care and attention. The place is immaculate, and the surrounding gardens well kept.

Highly recommend this authentic B&B stay

This was a really enjoyable stay. The host was really friendly and able to share her own experiences and recommendations for Derry which was great. It's as a B&B really should be - the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and it was very quiet and peaceful at night and we loved having a cooked breakfast each morning. Our host went above and beyond also supplying us with other treats in the evening and put a lot of effort in to ensuring we enjoyed our stay.

This is a lovely place to stay in the countryside, but within easy reach of everything you need, providing you have transport. Monica, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfasts were excellent. We will definitely be returning.

The only small problem we had was that the property is a little difficult to find even with a satnav.

The most generous warm and welcoming hosts we have ever met. The accommodation itself is absolutely beautiful with facilities to enjoy the outdoors as well as the indoors. Loved Five Oaks, great position, quiet and yet easy driving distance to everything we wanted. Monica and Adrian were wonderful and very helpful with lots of local knowledge. Breakfast, and bed comfort was first class (as were the coffee and hot pancakes ) and I look forward to visiting again, loved it. Thank you very much from is all.
