A bit claustrophobic in bedroom

Location was great and the hotel clean. the breakfast was also very good with a lovely bar/dining area over looking the river. All the staff were all very nice except one man who was on reception when we arrived.

The individual who was on reception when we arrived. He was extremely rude not just to us but to another poor couple in front of us who were asking for a bot more information and guidance regarding the car park. He didn't want to interact and all he repeated was "scan that sign and use Google maps". I was stunned by his attitude. When my wife asked about where we could eat and he pointed in the air and said "over there you're in the center" that was his way of expressing his help and advice, there was no personal care or even thought. He didn't explain anything about breakfast times or the room he just said "Third floor" as he passed us the key then stood back with his arms folded. This man clearly doesn't like his job or the public. He should look for an alternative position elsewhere because he is certainly harming your hotel's reputation. I want to make it very clear that the rest of the staff where very friendly and helpful.

Staff were not very friendly compared to other places we have stayed. Seemed an inconvenience if we asked for anything basic (like water)
