Good location but no room air conditioning. Too hot!!

Location was good for us

No air conditioning in the rooms and no warning that it was not there. The rooms were 31 degrees on arrival. One small fan only

Great place

Great nice little apartments with a double bed, little kitchen, big bathroom - makes you almost wonder why the additional room wasn’t added to the kitchen-lingroom-bedroom area. For € 9 per car per night you can rent a place in the parking that is situated on the first 3 floors of the building. The nearby center of Metz is a 5 minute walk with nice restaurants.

Much better than expected, great value, would definitely book again

The apartment was superb, large and bright with huge opening windows & a balcony - we had a great view of the thunder storm! The sofa & bed were both roomy & comfortable. The staff were really nice & all spoke English fluently. They were also kind enough to put up with my school French! The location was great, less than a 10 minute walk from the very pretty riverside walk (Chemin des Corporations) & the old town area.

Clean and nice room. Not too far from Metz downtown. Very nice and helpfull ladoes at the reception desk.

One can't drive your car up to the hotel door, so, if you have heavy or multiple luggage, getting there becomes somewhat awkward. Besides, we have booked a room with balcony by indicating this clearly on Booking.com reservation website. The hotel claimed that such a wish had not been passed to them by Booking.com, so finally there was no balcony for us left when we arrived. I have neither a way nor intention to inquire into whose fault was this. It was not grossly very important, but somewhat irritating, though.

Great for a one night stop over while travelling.

The price, location and helpfulness of the staff were very good features. We would definitely stay there again for a one night stop over.

Car parking on site was cheap and convenient but quite complicated to get around it once inside. The bathroom in our apartment had flooded before and left damaged woodwork in parts. Nothing that would prevent us staying again.

Well-equipped apartment in the city

We stayed just one night at Odalys Metz, while we were returning home from our stay in France. The apartment was roomy, comfortable and well equipped, so that we could prepare our evening meal and breakfast and sleep comfortably. The location is central but very quiet, with park space all around. The staff was helpful and friendly, and they messaged us in advance, so that we knew how to check in and where to park the car. We will definitely return.

We liked everything and were well equipped ourselves. A dish towel and soap for the dishes would have been appreciated. Otherwise we were very happy with our choice.

The location is excellent, very close to the Cathedral. Other attractions (Temple Neuf, Opera, etc.) are also within walking distance. If your room is on the city side, the view from the terrace is also splendid.

The bed is a bit narrow for two people. There is no air conditioning or fan available (ironically, the quilt is very thick). It is a disadvantage in hot summer.

Toilet very obviously had not been cleaned, filthy under bed and someones dirty sock under there. We only chose the hotel because it advertised it had secure parking which I asked for by email and this was confirmed to me in an email from booking.com that the accommodation had confirmed this (the day before). On the way to the hotel I received an email from the hotel that the secure parking was "no longer" available. The receptionist was nice but could hardly speak English so there was no chance to discuss it. Very dissatisfied.

Never again!!

The hotel has a good and quiet location to the center you can walk in 5-10 minutes.

I only got one roll of toilet paper for one week (no idea if it was already opened or not). There was no other roll of paper in the room. Upon asking at the front desk, I was told that toilet paper is not included for a longer stay (1 week one roll?). Finally I got another roll, but hey what's going on? Should I bing my own or start searching for a supermarket during my business trip?? I travel often and have experienced quite a bit, but I have never experienced anything like this. That's not economical or environmentally friendly, it's just outrageous. The room has no air conditioning, but a very dusty and dirty fan. Otherwise, the room was very dusty and it smelled of smoke (although it was a non-smoking room). The room was not cleaned during the stay (1 week), nor was a trash can emptied. The breakfast is very monotonous and the choice is very limited.

A well priced, pleasant place to stay and reasonably close to the main city activities.

A decent size, modern and comfortable room - nice big window to allow cool air in (hot day). Good underground private parking. A helpful staff member showed me way to the tourist area.

Great studio to stay in Metz

Clean room with a modern design. Good location, very close to Temple Neuf and city center. Equipped with a small kitchenette, including kettle/coffee machine/refrigerator/microwave. Spacious and clean bathroom, including the necessary toiletries.
