Good valuey for money - city is close

Very friendly stuff! Good location, city is 15 min by walking. Breakfast for 2 euro is good value of money. Bathrooms and room is clean. Hotel was full, but after 22:00 there was so quiet!

To understand, check in is possible from 15:00, but only after 17:00 is somewone there. Before you can check in with a mashine in front of the door, with your reservation code, you recived. I try to enter it, but it was telling me, there is a problem, contact the reception. So that was not possible, only after 15:30 after they charged my credit card. Then the mashine allowed me to enter my reservation number, it shows the room number, and i recived a code - make a picture of it! and dont forget your phone in the room - and you can enter the room.

Horrible

Nobody was at the front desk and they told me to use their machine to get my room code. After I did the machine demanded me to pay. I had to call them to come down and they wouldn’t accept that I had already paid in booking.com. I was standing there in horrible heat nearly fainting. I was on the verge of tears. They were very mean and got angry when I insisted that I had already paid. Booking.com support would not answer. By the time they finally understood I was already crying very horrible. Also no soap anywhere to be found.

very terrible location. unless you have a car or some other mode of transport, the hotels location makes it difficult to walk or catch public transport to the city centre. nothing is super close.

The room was small but clean, there was free parking and walking distance to the centre. A bit scary at night, but with no bad experience. Easy reachable from the highway. The staff was very helping to offer us some breakfast - there was some misunderstanding with not/ordering it.

The room was very small but sufficient, with a wash-basin. The toilets were not clean at the evening. We have asked for the two close rooms, but they were in different floors and wings of the building. The children were happy for it, me not.

Only worth staying if on a budget

It was cheap, the staff were nice and overall the room was ok.

The staff couldn't find our booking in the system which was a bit of a worry (though this was eventually fixed). The showers and toilets were very dirty (both in the morning and evening). The hotel was quite far from any public transport connection (around a 10 minute walk along a dual carriageway to the nearest bus stop). There were only two small pillows for the double bed. And the room didn't smell very nice. There was also no air conditioning so the room was extremely hot.

The bed was quite big and comfortable, the location and the free parking was really nice and useful.

The door was broken and not very stable. The bathroom is extremely small and everything there have to be renewed or at least fixed. All is working properly, but looks like heavily used and is not stable at all..

The person at the reception kept trying to help me do the self check-in because i was facing problem completing the check-in and he was very helpful although I didn’t speak french and he didn’t speak English but he did his best to make it work. It was very cold at the night I arrived and I appreciate his help. He guided me to the room and made sure I was able to open it because I also was facing a problem unlocking the door xD wasn’t my day xD

I couldn’t find a taxi from different apps I use to take me in the morning to the train station and I missed the train because of this :/ and there didn’t seem to be any close public transportation either.

Far beyond expectaion

Before I checked in, I googled this hotel and got terrible feedback from previous travellers. I was so regretful about booking this hotel for budget reasons. But after I checked in, I found this hotel far beyond my expectation. The facility is new and clean, and the staff are friendly. The public toilet and washroom were also in good condition. I guessed they hired someone to clean them. Based on what I have paid, this hotel is an excellent choice.

1) If you are alone and will check in at night, call an uber to drive you to the hotel. If you choose to walk to the hotel, you will be on a poorly lit road next to the highway. I was terrified afterwards because it was dangerous for a solo traveller. 2) Take some cash; otherwise, you won't be able to purchase the towel in the auto sale machine.

seems to be the cheapest option in Metz, and my room was clean, if small.

bed was comfortable, staff were nice. They upgraded me from a room with a shared bathroom to a room with my own bathroom for no extra cost, and were generally pleasant.

The room was very small, there was no desk, it was quite warm at times. The location wasn't great since I had to walk up and down and over highways and railroad tracks to get anywhere. Also, the sound of the train throughout the day was quite loud, as were the trucks parked outside.

The location is the only positive thing I can think of because the hotel is located at walking distance (approximately 30 minutes) from the city centre.

Terrible smell of cigarette smoke ingrained in the walls and furniture of the room. After staying for one night, all my clothes and bags smelled like cigarette smoke. Didn't try the shower because it looked very unhygienic.

I guess I got what I paid for, but it wasn't super comfortable

the bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean. I booked a room that had a shared bathroom, but they upgraded me to a room with a private bathroom for free. From what I saw comparing prices online, it seems like the cheapest available with separate rooms

the room was really tiny, and it didn't come with any soap and just one roll of toilet paper. It's located right next to the freeway and railroad tracks, so there was often traffic noise. Also, you had to walk through a labyrinth of massive motorways just to get to the nearest grocery stores

The typical F1 Hotel scam. ‘You can always check in’. The forget to mention if you bring your card. I arrived at 23.00 (as mentioned before via email), there was no staff, no helpdesk, no answer neither the day after. 80€ (2 rooms!) spend on nothing.
