ibis Lyon Gare Part Dieu

Immaculately clean and very comfortable. Lots of comfortable seating in the lobby and private patio.

Room was small but perfect for an overnight stay.

Excellent location close to the train station for an early morning departure. Appreciated the air conditioning in the hot weather. Close to shops and restaurants.

Basic room but it has everything you need and it's very close to Part Dieu. Granted it's a bit old looking, but the bed is very comfortable and if you care about your sleep, know that it has AC!! (very rare in france not to struggle to sleep in a sauna during the night, so just for that I'll rate them exceptional). The staff was very nice!

Amazing breakfast. Plenty of food at all times and a good variety of options. The staff at the reception was very helpful.

The beds were uncomfortable and quite old, with a mattress topper to compensate. The pillows were overly soft, and when we asked for an extra one on the first night, they didn’t have any available. The outdoor terrace was infested with fleas, making our first evening a terrible experience. To make matters worse, we saw large rats wandering around the terrace at night, though to be fair, that was not entirely the hotel's fault.
