Maybe ok for one night. The reality is not truly what the pictures show. I was somewhat disappointed with the experience. Cleaning is an issue, particularly in the bathroom. Lacking some amenities; apart from two people I interacted with at reception, who were super nice, everyone else were clearly not happy to be working there. The gentleman at check out was indifferent. Sadly, I am not staying here again if I have a choice.

Room was clean and staff were very friendly. The location was perfect to get around and explore the city. The only thing I would say is it would be nice for enough tea and coffee in the room for 2 people. Breakfast was filling and great for the price.

Room was ok. I had a view over the rooftops to the cathedral in the old town which was nice. Cheaper than many in that area of Lyon and close to train station, which I wanted. It was in need of a makeover though. No nice touches in the room, just very rudimentary. The sheets didn’t really fit the mattress. Tge shower door and shower head needed fixing.

An ok hotel by train station. I ordered and paid for late check-out until 2 pm, however at 12 a cleaner knocked on the door and told me he had to clean. I was able to convince him to leave me alone, but should not happen when late check-out is paid for and do not disturb sign is on door. Both lamps were broken and also some disturbing scratch on the wall etc, so maintenance could have been better.

We checked in in the evening no problems. We had a family comfort room. The room was tiny with a bunk bed for my 10 year old. You can barely move so I do not know which part we meant to be comfort? The bathroom was a good size but there was mold on the ceiling and around the shower. The shower door was not done properly so the showroom flooded every time we had a shower. Floor was dusty - needs a mop. Parking was good though! Although €14 for 13 hours is ridiculous. It was only a stop over so not massively upset but if I had to spend any more time I defo would be.

Room was small, but clean and quiet. Common areas (reception, elevators, hallways) are dirty and feel unsafe. I kept a chair in front of the door at night as a precaution. Restaurant next door for breakfast was excellent and friendly. Neighborhood is gritty and very urban; homeless people, feces, stink of urine. Location close to central train station offered convenience. Bottom line: cheap but safety was concerning.

Premiere Classe Lyon Excellent The €10 breakfast buffet is definitely worth it, Alexis is always able and willing to help (say hello to him and will assist you with salt, olive oil or anything you need). There is array of cereals, various breads, jams, ham, cheese, butter, yougurt, fruits as well as hot and cold drinks, outstanding!

I stayed here with my family and we booked two rooms. It’s true that it’s a budget hotel, but the rooms are extremely small and poorly maintained both the bathrooms and the rooms themselves. At least they were clean. However, the common areas looked dirty and had an unpleasant smell. The surrounding area isn’t very appealing either, although the location is convenient due to its proximity to the train station. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially not for families or those traveling with young children. Overall, I simply wouldn’t recommend it.

Very modern hotel located very close to the main rail station. Very quiet rooms and rather large for europe in general. Staff were super helpful. The only downside, and I wouldnt say its a negative for the hotel itself, is the lack of restaurants near it, especially ones that offer breakfast compared to "La confluance" etc. But that justs more incentive to explore the city! The offered breakfast is worth the convenience and price though.

15 minutes walking distance from Part-Dieu train station. However, too expensive for what you get. It costed me 137$ for the night!! Room was clean but very small, 2 adults wouldn’t fit in it and with the bare minimum available. No coffee machine, no shampoo, no hair dryer. The hotel looks old and not very confy. Not too welcoming either at the desk. This is an hitel mostly occupied by men so as a women i didn’t feel super at ease. My neighbour has been talking most of the night very loudly.

It’s an excellent option if you’re looking for an affordable yet comfortable place to stay in Lyon. Ideal for a few nights, and I’d definitely stay here again!

It was in an excellent area. Super convenient. No one told me the breakfast was next door so I couldn’t find it for a bit, but when I did it was nice. The vending machine for water was down while I was there but the staff was very pleasant. The room was a good size for just me but it wasn’t very clean. There was another persons hair in the shower and when I went to get into bed it was covered in hair that did not belong to me.

Starting with the reception the staff speaks English. the aid was blocked , my room was ready. the hotel is 10 minutes walk from theTrain station where you can move to any part of the city and the country (I travel from CDG airport to Lyon direct by train. The only thing I had at the hotel is that I was charged in advance for the two rooms and they were supposed to be paid at the hotel.

We had a short stay, everything seemed fine until we woke up with bed bug bites and then realized there was an infection. Found mark on pillow and bed bug in the bathroom floor. Complaint to the reception on our way out they said they will look into it and get back to my email. Also they did not have first aid in reception, my partner had a paper cut and we asked for band aid or something in reception and they said they have nothing.
