location is very good.
lack of breakfast due to renovation works. they suggested I deal with payment ( which included breakfast) via booking.

The location is very close to the bus station, also it’s pretty close to the old town. The room was clean and cozy. It was convenient to have a small corridor that divided the room and the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. In the hotel they gave us a brochure with several good restaurants.
The room might be small for two persons. It has a lack of some wardrobe/hanger or commode. In the bathroom it would be better if it has towel hooks. Also you need to leave the keys on the reception before to go out. And i wish the personal could be more hospitable and nicer.

The location is the most comfortable aspect of this place.
The staff was pleasant and nice. They have 24h desk.
The room was okay for 2 nights stay. It’s a place for a sleepover with a private bathroom.
The room has a safe.
We didn’t plan to stay in the room during the day, only sleep at night with a quick access to the center and the tram/train/bus. We don’t regret staying there because it was kind of expectable after prior reading the reviews.
The bathroom facilities are old, the bathroom cabinet is very old and needs a replacement. The room is tiny and not suitable for spending the whole day in it, only sleeping for a couple of nights. The walls are thin and we can easily hear people from the neighboring room or corridor. There is no lift, so you have to carry your baggage through the stairs.
I think the rooms could be more invested and repaired.

The property is in an ideal location for walking everywhere plus the staff is wonderful, so friendly and helpful.
My room had great electric blinds for complete darkness and a comfortable bed- I slept well. Everything was clean and perfect for a great stay.
Nothing.

Loved the location and the layout of the 2 floor house/hotel room. Beds were super comfortable.
The ventilation was pretty bad, so it got damp and a bit smelly pretty fast in the rooms. Also, there's quite a bit of mold on the walls in the bathroom/shower area, which isn't the nicest thing.

The staff was friendly throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great location — just a short walk from the city center, which made it very easy to explore Lyon on foot. We also appreciated the convenience of the paid parking at the nearby train station. The breakfast was good.
the rooms are quite small, which is fine for a short stay but might feel a bit tight for longer visits. Also, the bathroom drainage could definitely be improved, as the shower water didn’t drain properly during our stay.

I really appreciated the coziness and the great location of this place.
The reception staff were not as welcoming as I had hoped, which left me feeling uncomfortable. Additionally, the policy requiring guests to leave their key while they’re out was unsettling. When I returned, there was no one at the reception, and I had to ring the bell and wait, only to eventually take my key without any acknowledgment, which felt quite alarming. Lastly, the construction right outside my window was incredibly loud and disruptive from early in the morning, making it difficult to relax. Unfortunately, due to these issues, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this place.

The staff and attitude.
The amount of shampoo and lack of slippers.

Small rooms but still ok

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the impression the hotel is in the process of being updated and renovated. The room recently got new electric equipment, including controls of the shutters, and fans (which were indispensable in the midst of summer). The beds were good. The street was quiet, though Lyon Perrache and the Autoroute are just around the corner, just like the lively Place Carnot. It makes this hotel a suitable spot for train travelers who have to spend one night.
I had the impression the hotel is in the process of being updated and renovated. The bathroom was worn out, not really clean and its style did not match the renovated lobby from the pictures. But maybe it will soon be updated as well.

Very central location. Close to the station.
Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area and old town in walking distance.
Nice and accommodating staff, allowed us to keep bags in storage after check-out so we could go visit the town in the day.
The hotel is under refurbishment so was noisy in the morning due to ongoing work.
We booked a standard double room, a great budget option, nicely decorated but the bed is so close to the door that we struggled to get in/out, especially when carrying luggage!

The bed was comfortable.
I specifically asked/booked for a room with AC, which did not work at all during my one night stay. It was super hot and impossible to sleep.
In the morning I needed a taxi, so I asked for the lady in the reception to call me one. She sad she was too busy to do that, so the only thing she could do to help was to give the number. Obviously I didn’t manage to get a taxi at the hotel and had to walk to find one.

Very good location, and friendly staff
1- Whenever I'm not in the hotel, they asked me to hand over the keys.
2- The absence of an elevator and the lack of assistance in carrying luggage on the stairs make it uncomfortable.

The location and staff were great. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bathrooms are nice as well. We had one minor issue with a room and it was taken care of quickly! We ended up staying here 5 nights after only booking a couple at first.

Good breakfast, central location, modern room (although the bathroom was old and could need a renovation)
The hotel charged 180€/night for three nights, which is ridicuolous given the standard. All day long there were construction works in the hotel room next door, making it mostly impossible to work in the room during the day. One night, there was a complete electricity blackout in the hotel, leaving me no other choice than going to bed early. Given the shortcomings, I asked for a price reduction at check-out, but the receptionist showed no cooperation whatsoever and no manager was available.

The rooms were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Enjoyed the hot water service. Close to laundromat, supermarket, restaurants and shops. Walking distance to plazas.
The only negative was the small steps in apartment. Wouldn't want elderly people managing them

Interesting design of the room, living-sleeping room upstairs, everything else downstairs. Quite rooms with very welcoming personnel. The bathtub was in the room, I like it. Also, the electric kettle for making teas and hot drinks.
Difficulties to have breakfast during busy time in the morning, only a few tables are available. It was quite called in the toilet all the time of my stay.
3.0 / 10.0
location is good, and it is the only thing that is good.
The room is very dirty and dusty. The non-smoking room has burnt marks on the table. Nothing is clean. The dust was so bad my eyes turned red after about two hours in the room. The pillows smell like sweat from the previous guests.
The floor and walls are very thin. A person walking next room will shake your bed and floor.
At midnight, the employee at the reception turned the TV so loud that you can hear it in your room.
Wifi does not work. The room is very small and would only work if you stay alone in a double room.
