Greet Hotel Lyon Confluence

Room is spacious and noise proof which is a great (and mostly underrated) feature. Bed was comfy. They have a water fountain which should be mandatory for every hotel in 2026 and they also have complimentary drink when you check in and tea/coffee. Location is both good and bad: it's good as it's very central and you can walk easily to any place in the city center, but it's also a bit bad as you have to walk through an underpass in every direction which isn't ideal to be honest, as the hotel is crammed between train tracks and a highway passing through the city center.

Not sure if this was just our room, but we were missing hooks to hang up hand towels, and as we didn't want to have them changed we had to keep them on the sink table so they were pretty much damp for the whole stay which isn't ideal. Not a big deal, and it could be easily improved I guess.

The Pure room was clean with comfortable bedding. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Initiatives taken to reduce waste.

The double room was tight for two and is best for a short stay or a single traveler.

- all we needed for a 1 night stop over in Lyon - not in the old town but close enough to nice things and restaurants etc. Lyon seems to be simple to get around on the tram

- even though the common area felt nice and well decorated the room felt a bit tired and like a conference hotel a bit

Very kind and helpful staff. All the people at the reception have responded more than adequately to our questions and requests.

Very small and uncomfortable room, at least the one we had. Very few amenities. There was no fridge in the room nor wardrobe, just a rail with few hangers, that were not at proper height for longer clothes. Overall, I wouldn't say it was bad, but I wouldn't it recommend it either.
