Due to works at train station hard to access hotel Hotel was undergoing refurbishment 15 minute walk into Lyon main town and a further 20 minutes to old town

Very clean with spacious room

Very good for value but we didn't have a kettle, no coffee, no tea, no sugar and wa ter. There was no bar fridge either

Really nice stay in Lyon

Very comfortable hotel in nice area. Corneille was exceptional and welcomed us with warmth. Breakfast was outstanding - we really could not have asked for more.

Not clean

The location is relatively nice, close to the Perrache station. You have access to restaurants and there is a nice park in front of the hotel. Shower was large and good water pressure. Bathroom was good size.

We arrived and we found trash on the floor, the sheets did not seem clean (not stains but pieces of fluff or something on them). There is no fridge, no place to put your clothes. My partner had back issues due to soft mattress, I did not mind it.

Staff was great, Marilou was extremely helpful getting us an extra room upon arrival and she did a great job recommending places to visit and eat at around town.

Rooms feel humid so I had to leave the windows open all the time and there were at times a very faint humid smell in the bathroom.

The location is excellent and the staff and facilities are good. Everything you need is close and the transport links are excellent. Perfect for an overnight stop.

A small fridge in the room and cups and glasses rather than paper cups would be a big improvement. The bathroom is tiny. Squeezing past the sink to get to the toilet is not ideal!

Low Price/Benefit, close to city centre

Hotel’s location was amazing, it is very close to metro station. You can travel to centre with 2-3 station or by 15 minute walk.

Room is very small, I mean very very small. When you enter the room you feel claustrophobic sonPrice/benefit is very low. A/C was not working, it is very big minus for June weather. Room is looking for a small empty hall, no airflow but high mosquitoes. Bed is very small but probably due to room size. Staff should improve their English, it is very hard to communicate with them. Free water provided in the entrance.

location was nice

airconditioning in the whole building was broken. It was way too hot in the room. Told staff about it but they just said: we know about the problem, sorry. Later we got a message that they we’re looking door a solution two days after we checked out. Also paid for breakfast but it was so poor. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The hotel is located very close to the railway and bus stations, which significantly facilitates the logistics of travel. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, so it's a perfect place for a short trip to Lyon.

Hotel rooms need refreshing. The bathroom and shower cabin were extremely small, which resulted in low comfort of use. However, the biggest downside was the lack of a working ventilation/air conditioning system. At a temperature of nearly 30 degrees Celsius, this significantly reduced comfort.

Um, not sure... wasn't happy about the child bed but yeah, I'd stay again...

Location is very good Able to store our velos in the room which is helpful when bike touring Beds comfy Shower was fine Nice big window overlooking park - a bit noisy until about bed time and then it was quiet enough to sleep I note other comments indicating the room is dirty - we did not find this to be the case. The room was fine. Elevator wait not long.

Reception a bit 'brusque' Worth noting - We booked a room with the extra child bed so could have another bed to sit on but it turns out this child bed is just a slim mattress kept on the floor under a single bed... And if I had a child with me, not sure I would be happy with that set up... Having said this, the rate was fair and if I were to return to Lyon, I wouldn't worry about staying here again.

The location is great and the staff is friendly

The rooms are a bit tight… They only clean the rooms once in the morning (if you sleep in, the room won’t be cleaned afterwards) There is no socket in the bathroom if a woman wants to use a hair straightener, and there is only one mirror in the room (the one in the bathroom)

For a reasonably priced room, the location was excellent with bars, restaurants, shops and transport on doorstep. Walking distance to old town. Extremely helpful, polite reception staff. View of square from room. Good level of cleanliness overall.

Whilst bathroom and walls were clean the bedroom carpet could do with replacing, but appears that hotel was doing some upgrading work as we left. Twin room was fairly small with limited storage and small beds which might be an issue if wanted to stay longer, but perfectly adequate for the short break and compensated for by the ideal location of the hotel at a good price.

Superb

Excellent view on the parc from my room. Breakfast was perfect. It has a perfect location, you can cross the bridge on the Rhone by walking 2 minutes. Staff was very helpful.
