A decent hotel if you don’t expect too much

This is a decent place for a short stay, but don’t expect much. From Friday to Monday we didn’t see anyone at the reception. We only found out from another guest that the reception was actually in the basement where breakfast is served. A small sign in several languages would really help we entered from street level, and maybe if we had come in from the basement parking, we would have noticed. The room had no fridge, no fan or air conditioning. The mattress was very firm, and the pillows felt like they used to be pillows but are now just flattened rags. There were also two old, chipped chairs that seemed useless to me. On the positive side, the room was clean. However, in three days no towels or bed linens were changed. Considering the heat wave during our stay and the lack of air conditioning, I think this should have been a basic service. Breakfast was available at an extra cost, but we didn’t take it. I would suggest adding at least some fans, a mini fridge in the rooms, and perhaps a vending machine with drinks and snacks – especially since most places in the area close very early.

It’s true that the location is convenient, close to the train station, but having someone at reception to welcome guests would really change the atmosphere. Right now, it feels like an abandoned place. And please replace the pillows, or rather the things placed on the bed pretending to be pillows.

Beds are awful. They’re not proper beds, they’re thick cushions! Unbelievable!!! The annoying sound in the bathroom each time you used it…. I understand it’s to air the place but seriously annoying!!!! Rooms not cleaned every day. Way too overpriced for nothing more than a cheap guesthouse marketed as a “hotel”. Even Premier Inn or Travel Lodge feels like a luxury compared to this dump.

I'm not a fan of unmanned check-in where you call for instructions - would have appreciated having the code to get our keys a little in advance.

one of the Windows of the room Couldn’t be closed as it needed a key for the lock to be closed and there’s no one in the building after 8pm to contact to come close it so we slept with one window opened while it was end October and we had a 7 months baby with us. there should be someone to contact in case of emergency!

Parken schwierig, verwinkelte Flure was allerdings auch einen gewissen Charme hat, etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber noch in Ordnung.

Das Personal war freundlich und das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut.

Das Bett war zwar bequem, aber das Kopfkissen viel zu dünn. Und das Bad war sehr eng, vor allem der Einstieg in die Dusche.

Kann man wieder hin!

Geräumiges Einzelzimmer, sauber, gepflegt, alles erforderliche vorhanden Beim Frühstück sehr große Auswahl und lecker Aber nur schwer zu finden: da die Rezeption nicht besetzt war und dort kein Hinweisschild auf den Frühstücksraum im Kellergeschoss bedeutet das blöde Sucherei... könnte man einfach verbessern.

Relativ laut wegen Verkehr (Zimmer geht zur Straße raus) und liegt in der Einflugschneise zum Flughafen Stuttgart (Ruhe von 23:00-06:00), zudem Abends und Nachts viele laute Fußgänger
