Excellent location for TAE events. Very friendly staff. Looks like recently renovated. Quiet at night, good nights rest. Cleanliness impeccable. Hot shower, spacious room.
The wifi is almost non-existent but fibre optic is on its way apparently. The 'bar' isn't really a bar, limited sitting and availability.

Ok for my needs, but priced above expectation due to an exhibition happening at the same time.
Breakfast was very good and very friendly staff.
The wifi and the bed and the pillow. The wifi signal kept dropping and this was constantly happening, day and night (morning and evening). The bed was as hard as a bench, but was ok after 2nd day as I got used to it. The pillow was terrible. I ended up using the decoration pillow that was on the bed. This was a much, MUCH better pillow.

Good for business trip
It is a perfect hotel if you come to the Technical Academy of Esslingen (TAE) for business trip. TAE is just 5 min walk away. It an old style hotel but maintained very well, clean and tidy. My compliments to the breakfast options offered. Small various buns are freshly made each morning. If you like sweet pastry, you have to be fast, otherwise you won't get any if the hotel is full. Free entry tickets to public pool are offered at the reception. Personnel is very friendly.
The blankets were short. I am not a tall person but even for me the blankets were not enough to cover myself. The hotel does not have restaurant onsite. Wi fi is free of charge and of a good speed. However, it requires a password and you have to confirm it every time when you login.

Das Hotel liegt für Veranstaltungen an der TAE ideal mit nur zwei drei Gehminuten zum Veranstaltungsort. Die Räumlichkeiten sind hübsch, wenn auch ein wenig aus der Zeit gefallen.
Das Bett war sehr hart und hat zumindest mir bzw. meinem Rücken nicht zugesagt. Das Frühstücksbuffet könnte umfangreicher ausfallen insbesondere was vegetarische/vegane Speisen anbelangt. Die WLAN-Verbindung war recht schlecht in den Zimmern im 3. Stock.
