Good value with perfect location,utensils, and much space, with some downsides like Pillows and TV.

Very calm, much utensils in kitchen and bathroom.

The "Smart TV" doesen’t work with Hotels WiFi, so you can’t watch Youtube or Netflix unless you connect to your own WiFi. More pillows would be nice, just one bad quality pillow wasn’t that pleasing, but bed was very comfy.

The online check-in process was very difficult. We were unable to receive the door code and room number through the system. When we went to the reception, we realized that many other guests were experiencing the same issue. This caused unnecessary stress and delays at check-in.

I would probably stay again and avoid any breakfast and bring slippers.

The opportunity to be able to have cooking facilities and the location was perfect. The facility was also very safe and as a solo person, that was very helpful.

The room (floor) was not so clean and the shower was leaking from the hose, so not very good. Also, I was double charged for breakfast and am very very very disappointed about that!

Functional, clean and excellent for the rate.

We liked that we were close to several shops to buy food and that the rooms had cooking facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The ease of access with a code to get in and out of the room and building was better than trying to remember a card. The room was clean and functional.

The cleaning of room and changing of bed linen was very hit and miss. House keeping came in the day before we checked out and started changing towels then obviously realised we were leaving the following day and left us without bath towels . The Ginn Cafe bar was closed early by 20.30 Friday and Saturday evening Each time we went for the complimentary bottle of water there were no bottles available. For some reason the television randomly turned on during the time we were in our room.

the location

we are a couple who was looking for accommodation for 2-3 months in Esslingen. Thankfully, we only booked here for 1 week ( thursday to Thursday) to start. My husband has sciatica problems and the bed in Room 217 was so soft, he was in pain. We told the receptionist who informed the manager. We were told that all the beds were the same, so they didn't let us look or try another room. We all know that beds can be different in hotel rooms depending on many factors!!! Plus there were constantly smokers on the "durchgang" outside our room! We booked a second apartment somewhere else on Saturday ( Keilmeyers Ferienwohnungs on Marktplatz) and stayed there for the rest of that week. We left some things at the Ginn hotel until the check-out date, because we didn't want the hotel to rent out the room again, since we had already paid for it. We also found great long term accommodation at Mavo Hotel, very close to Ginn. We strongly recommend against this hotel for anyone staying here for a long term stay...maybe a day or two might be ok!!!

Great hotel

Great hotel for this price. Perfect location for the ones who want to discover the old town. Clean room, with everything you may need to stay a couple of days. The only thing is that if you need some water, you have to run to the lobby. I'd prefer to have a bottle in the room.

Good location

Good location - just a few minutes from Esslingen station with a 10 minute train journey into the Hauptbanhof. Plenty of local shops nearby and the picturesque old town just a few minutes walk away.

The online check-in process is a little bit of a faff - having to re-enter details that have already been provided. We opted to leave a day early (loss of confidence in German trains) so the ability to check out earlier than the booked check out day would have been useful.

One of the best hotel i have ever stay♥️! I highly recommend! The bed was so comfy and the tv had netflix on it! I loved the shower, with the massage mode!!

Excellent air conditioning, very nice new room, black out blinds and a fridge to keep things cool. Also in a really great location

Once you know where the place is, you understand that the place is in a good location. However, Google Maps routed me differently, so I was walking 10 minutes around to actually enter it. The room is very new, clean.

For 2 persons, there is almost no place to eat. So, even if there is a kitchenette, it would be not so comfortable to really cook there, rather prepare some snack.

Esslingen is a lovely town - GINN is a blot on the landscape.

It was clean.

Hotel unfinished - no reception (temporary standing tables in entrance), no lounge, no breakfast, credit card facilities largely unsupported, unusable cold water tap in kitchen area, locked corridor doors (fire hazard), awful sofabed (in double room far too small to include third bed), surly staff, restricted credit card facilities. GINN should be ashamed for opening before it's finished... and charging SO MUCH! Booking.com should remove this listing until GINN can assure them it's finished. The attached picture is of the lounge, which the 'receptionist' described as existing, but unavailable (!). We will be seeking compensation.

Excellent modern room very close (2 min walk) to train station.

Excellent place to stay. New building, brand new rooms with modern appliances. The kitchenette will save your a lot of money cause you won't have to eat outside all the time. The Rewe super store is just on the ground floor of the building and you will find everything you need there. Awesome!!!

Modernes Studio mit allem was man braucht.

Die Apartments liegen sehr zentral und in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Zum Weihnachtsmarkt waren es zu Fuss 3-5 Minuten. Der Zugang beim Haupteingang über einen per Email erhaltenen Code funktionierte problemlos. Auch die Aktivierung der Zimmertüre klappte auf Anhieb. Die Ausstattung mit Geschirr und Besteck, Mikrowelle oder Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach war sehr gut.

Die Parkiermöglichkeiten im Zentrum sind sehr begrenzt und die Parkplatzsuche gestaltete sich mühsam. Im Apartment selber war es eher kühl, obschon die Lüftung/Heizung auf +3 Grad eingestellt war.

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Lage am Bahnhof ist perfekt. Unser Kühlschrank war defekt, nach 5 Minuten war schon der Techniker da und hat das Problem gelöst.
