The owner and the staff is very professional and friendly.

People , parking available and you can store your luggage for short period

The staff were some of the most friendly and hospitable staff I've come across at a hotel. They couldn't do enough for us. The room was nice and the location was perfect to travel to and from Durham. Brilliant price too. My parents ate at the restaurant and raved about the food.

Only minor things like the bathroom door lock and my side lamp didn't work but nothing worth shouting about.

The room looked and smelled clean. There were tea bags, coffee sachets and UHT alongside the kettle as mentioned. The TV worked. A hairdryer was available, but I didn't try it. In the ensuite there were a couple of soaps and two small tubes of shampoo. Plenty of hot water was available and the shower pressure was decent. Over all everything necessary was available. However the Inn is rather tired looking and the walls are quite thin - I could hear another customer snoring. The location was reasonable, easy to find and not too far from where I needed to be although I would probably prefer to be a little closer on another occasion. There were plenty of car parking spaces. I wasn't aware of there being Wi-Fi - I forgot to ask and there wasn't the usual "login" card in the room: this wasn't an issue personally but just saying for anyone who may need it.

There was a smell like drains in the en suite most of the time. The decor was tired. The door was loud, no matter how I tried to close it quietly.
