It's very clean, beds are confortable ..enough space to put things, staff were friendly and walking distance to Kyoto Station
My favorite neckpillow was lost in the dorm on the last day .Probably stolen by one of the last few dorm mates..not Japanese. To have this happen in Japan is so disappointing. So if you are staying in the dorm, please keep your belongings safe.Closing the curtains when you are out doesnt help

I had a wonderful stay at this Kyoto hostel. I booked a single Japanese-style room, which was spotless, comfortable, and very peaceful. The shared living room was cozy and inviting, with a traditional kotatsu that made it a perfect place to relax. The sofas were very comfortable, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and creamer available for guests. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and everything was clean and well maintained. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. One small suggestion would be to create a “Free Items” box or sharing shelf in the common area. Many travelers, including myself, have useful items like umbrellas or rain jackets that we no longer need before flying home. It would be a wonderful way for guests to share these items with future travelers
