    Super nice place - clean and comfortable. Also located near tourist attractions. Tien, who works there was very nice and helpful. Would highly recommend staying here

    The room is tidy and comfort. The bed is comfy for me and my parents. We love the traditional design! But you have to remember the toilet is shared with other rooms and if you choose this traditional room, it face to face to the common room, so it will be a lil noisy because sometims there will be other peeps that talk/eat/chatting on the common room.. it suitable best for young peeps! But my parents still can enjoy this guest house :)

    This place has very friendly and helpful staff who even carries your bag upstairs, stores baggage after checkout and is very clean and warm. Confirmed check in time to turn on the conditioner so that the room was warm when we came.

    To be fair, this is a 1 star accommodation, and based on the location and clean comfortable rooms, I'd recommend it. The biggest downside is the single shared shower and only two toilets. If it's busy, you can be waiting a while for others to get their showers. During off peak season this might be less of an issue and the proximity to Kyoto Station and some good bicycle rental places is super helpful.
