Great location in a beautiful Bavarian town

A traditional guesthouse in a great location, just a few minutes from the centre, so convenient without being noisy. Cost room with excellent en-suite shower room. Nice breakfast provided too.

Exceptional

The room was comfortable, very nicely expanded by the balcony with view. Two other points stand out. One was the quality of the dinner and breakfast, both of which were absolutely superb, beyond expectations. The second was the memorable hosts: kind, helpful, gracious. They left us with wonderful memories, so important when travelling. Thank you most sincerely.

Good value for the money and Bavarian hospitality at its best

There were many choices for the typical German breakfast, hearty breads, yogurt, muesli, jam, hard boiled eggs, etc. The breakfast room was very tastefully decorated as was the room that we stayed in. All of the staff that we met were very friendly and professional and spoke English with us when our limited German failed us. The room we stayed in appeared to be newly renovated, including the bathroom, and it was decorated with stunning photos from the area. The kitchenette came with a mini bar and all the utensils, glasses and plates that we needed for our stay. The view from the balcony faced the beautiful Karwendel mountains, had it been warm enough, we would have spent enjoying the view from the balcony. The property is located in a quiet neighborhood just a five minute walk from the train station and very close to the main street of Mittenwald. My travel companion and I would not hesitate to stay at this property again. We were pleasantly surprised with this property, it has the charming Bavarian guesthouse feel but with a modern touch and excellent service.

Great place to stay in Mittenwald

The gasthaus is located near the center of town just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. The accommodation offers rooms with balcony with chairs to sit and relax when not exploring the surroundings. I good German breakfast is provided with cake and coffee in the afternoon.The owner as available should you need anything. A perfect place to stay in Mittenwald.

friendly staff, comfortable bed and nice mountain view. beautiful rustic stay with exceptional surrounding for hiking.

in general no issue and it was in the description, but the price was quite high for a room with (private but still) bathroom not on the room but in the hallway. also, sadly no way to get a “breakfast to go/simple sandwich“ as we had to leave half an hour before breakfast on our last day. still: very friendly staff and in general a nice stay, critique only regarding price-performance ratio.

Danke Schön für alles, La chambre était très confortable, vue magnifique sur la plus belle montagne de Mittenwald, à 2 pas de la gare et du centre ville.
