We stayed for two nights. Location is amazing, rooms quite spacious, futons comfortable, air conditioner working. Generally nice vibe of a communal living.

For the number of guests - definitely not enough bathrooms and toiletts - assuming each room has at least 2 people, zou have about 10+ rooms and only 4 women toilets, 4 men toilets, 2 and 2 shared showers and 2 "private" ones. In morning "prime time" it is not enough. Breakfast is not offered by the property. Dinner is offered at an absurd price of a high end restaurant. Instant coffee is for sale at the property for absurd 200 yen, as is water - a bottle for a price higher than in the nearby vending machine. They are clearly making a lot of money with tourists, and the prices are unfair.

It was well located in central Magome and had ample community spaces to chill before bed. Owner was very friendly. They had a lot of supplies and food available with an honesty box for payment.

The dinner felt really overpriced for what we got. It was over 3500 yen per person per day, which is more than I would have spent at an upscale restaurant, and way more than I'd be comfortable spending at a hostel. They were a bit deceptive in that the drinks cost extra; we assumed they'd be included in the price given that it was so much. The second day I didn't want to take the dinner, but there are no refunds. The beds are also extremely uncomfortable, I asked the owner if I could have an extra mattress and they obliged.
